I dont understand where people are coming from. I see your point but what leads you to feel this way?

i asked questions about what others would do if their loved one was incarserated for a lenghthy amount of time and I got alot of nice comments and answers. Thank you for the support it means alot. My ? now is for those who say I am wasting my time or living in a dream world or what have you. I am not saying your opinions are dumb but what makes you feel this way? I guess I dont understand how people can be so quick to give up on someone they claim to love and the fact that divorce is so easily the answer. What happened to honoring your vows? I dont know why it bothers me so much that people dont view marraige the way they used to but it does. I want to understand how people can just give up. Not that it is wrong or right I just cannot understand Can someone explain it to me. I already know that I am waiting for my husband and I have 1000 reasons why. i am just trying to understand other people and why they would do any different. Help me understand please

Abadonment issues, you have to understand society put us into a situation were we have live our lives by ourselves. I mean at one point it was a great and romantic point, but it destroies the connection in familys, since familys as a unit should live their lives for the better ment of the family not the individuals in it. Because of this igrnoant ideal it put more and more importance on finding that "special" someone since even when there not in our lives (we havn't even found them yet) they are the only thing outside kids that is ours to live our lifes with. Which isn't good ether but I'm not getting into that right now, just explaining that we react to this in two different and unhealthy ways. One is to completely abandon the individual when they don't fit our ideals, the other is to completely abandon ourselves when they don't fit our ideals. Which is what your doing, I'm pretty sure theres a good reason why he is in there, and the only reason that could justify you still being there would be drug use, now if he is a theif, murder, rapest or into finaical wizardry, i'd be concern about his overall moral fiber and be out of there, drugs I personal can understand, concerning how the laws are writen. But the force that keeps you with him is also the force that would throw some people away, namly trying to get that life our parents promised us, because they didn't what to give us theres.... bad, bad state of affairs, good luck and god bless....
