Ok. It's not the she doesn't like me, she's just very protective of her son. He's 27 and went through a very nasty divorce and custody battle 2 years ago that was very emotional for his whole family, especially his mom. After that his "rebound" girl I guess you could say, was this stripper that claimed to be pregnant with his kid. After raising the child for 6 months he found out she wasn't his and the girl left the state with her, which also broke his mom's heart because she was really attached to the little girl. I care about him a lot and he doesn't seem to care what his mom thinks but I do! I don't want her to think I'm like the other ones because I'm far from it. She's always nice to me and she hasn't told him that she doesn't like me, she just tells him he needs to be more careful and more picky. The other two lived off of him completely. I'm 24, have a good steady job that pays well, my own place and pay my own bills and provide for my kids. How can I change her mind about me?!

i saw this guy i like about a month ago and i asked him "I thought you quit smoking?" and he was like "I did, but I haven't seen you in awhile so I started again." was this a part of his game or could he have meant it? we had just got done having sex in the backseat of his car behind Home Depot, and after that he took me home. He asked me if i wanted to get a hotel later on and spend the night together, and I told him yes and he said he'd call me an hour later and he never did! i tried to call him and asked him if he still wanted to go, and he said "yeah, but let me call you right back." and he never did! why did he propose a hotel room with me, if he wasn't planning on getting one?

No wrong answers here.
Is it something about her appearance or something in the bedroom?
I really want to please my man, and need some ideas.

i went to my boyfriends house when he was at work and i left him this trail of surprises... but than i found a porn collection in his room. I also found out that he was lying to me about not smoking anymore for months. Now i kept telling myself, "all guys look at porn, its normal." but it still bothers me to think of him doing it. I'm too embarrassed to say anything, but i dont want it to do anything to our relationship. i mean i know he loves me and hes horny at his age..20. But i have been through so much with guys being perverted asses, that its hard to know my boyfriend likes it. i was molested and have had problems with harrassment throughout my life, and im still dealing with it. its hard and I hate thinking that he looks at other girls or something. i know it sounds ridiculous, but i have no idea what to do. i want to just ignore it! I just hope he isn't addicted or something

Y do women call up men that they really like & are interested in pursuing something more serious with & offer them sex. Don't they know that sex isn't going to make him be in a relationship with them & them they ge mad when the guy doesn't call respond to them like they want him to.

Y do women offer sex when what they really want is love? Is it because they think men only want sex & that's the only way to get attention & why do men take advantage of women that they claim they really have no genuine interest in but they sleep with them anyway? Y do women call me for sex & then get mad when they don't want a relationsp? Y do men cheat on the women they claim they luv 2 go have sex with some skank @ 3 in the morning? Y is sex so important that guys can't say no?

My daughter's 1st birthday party will be taking place in about 3 months from now. Sadly I recently lost my cousin and his father (my uncle) within the past 4 months (these are close relatives on my dad's side of the family). My original plan was to invite my relatives from both my mom and dad's side of the family to my child's 1st birthday party in July. I am planning to invite my other aunts and cousins from my dad's side. Is it better to send my greiving relatives an invitation too, or should I not send one to them at all. I don't want them to feel hurt (if I do not send them an invite) and I don't want to be rude (if they have no desire to attend). Please help me in this delima.

Husband wants to continue our relationship, but he keeps showing he doesn't value our marriage. Then he is unhappy I have no enthusiasm for our marriage when he does these things. I gently declined celebrating our aniversary. If I find another man, what "Pete" says or does can't affect me as before. Yes, I've talked to him, but he just gets mad at me for not being happy.

Oook so, I've been dating a guy for one year and two months *long distance*, at first it was wonderful, talked on the phone daily for hours and hours.. then a few things changed. I started getting hurt easy, I was expecting way too much, so I cheated on him. By cheating I mean kissed someone else. I regreted it, but I blamed it on him.. It wasnt HIS FAULT. Anyway, after that it just went down hill, he told me to give him time, after a few months he turned into the old him, but I've changed... I just feel like I dont love him... But I dont know how I can live my life without him, he's everything I know. I admit I want someone here, who can handle me 24/7.. but it hurts me so bad if I see him hurt.. I just cant handle it.. I really dont know what I want... him.. or something else.. not necesarely another guy. This last week I've been hanging out alot with friends, and he bitches at me saying I ignore him. I was happy with my friends... I USED to be happy with him.. I dont know anymore.

Every time someone asks a question or wants advice, I keep seeing people telling them to seek counseling. Are those people getting kick backs from the "counseling center"? It truly disgusts me that people think that if they have a minor problem, they need to go to a counselor for help. Other terms for counselor include Phsycologist, Therapist, Marriage Specialist, and Quack. You know, I once met a woman who claimed the title of "Marriage Specialist" and had never been married. Anyway, I think therapy is a waste of time in most cases and there are less expensive and more effective ways to make youself feel good about your life. I am just wondering if I am the only one who feels this way.
I know that there will be a bunch of answers that will tell me how right I am (hoping for that "best answer") and about as many that will tell me to seek counseling. I just want to know if there is anyone who will actually put true thought into giving me an answer.
