I guess it depends on what kind of model they were talking about and who said it.
If they thought you should be a model for the following then it probably wasn't a compliment:
Adult diapers
Local Funeral Home
Cigarette Smokers
Goodyear Blimp
Goodyear Tires
Marshmellow treats
Acne medication
Local abortion clinic
However, if they didn't see you as this type of model then perhaps it was a compliment and you should savour the moment.

yeah i would of taken it as a compliment. because if a complete stranger comes up to me and says, "You should be a model" that would be a totally compliment. your sexay hunny. lol well maybe you should try out for america's next top model or that janice dickenson thing. good luck! lotz of ⥠~*EMMA*~

yea. every time someone tells me that exact same thing i just say, "u really think so? well thankz" then i walk away. sometimes i just think they are trying to get ur attention so they can maybe hook up with u or something. but i just take it as a compliment cause i've learned through experience, i dont trust people anymore.
