I have a friend that constantly needs advice on things and most of her phone calls are about problems she needs help with. Now I don't mind giving her advice or helping her with her problems cause that's what your freinds are for right?? My worry is, she isn't just looking for advice anymore, she wants me to make decisions for her! Her problems aren't just the run of the mill boy problems or hair or make-up problems, they are serious issues like health and other things I have no right commenting on! Last time she called with a issue I told her I wasn't comfortable making a decision on it as it was quite personal and she got really angry and didn't speak to me for days. What is the best way to tell her that I can't keep making her decisions for her without making her REALLY angry??

I hv a frnd who treats me like an available option in her life. She talks to me once or twice in a week and she calls me according to her convenience. I get this feeling that she is using me for her time pass. Bcoz she never calls me when her relatives r with her. She calls me only when she is bored or when no 1 is there to talk to her or if she has nothing else to do or if she wants a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen to her she calls me. In a way she tells me like, "there is no body in the house and the light went off was feeling ver bored" with this I feel like she think of me bcoz she has no other thing to do. If I dont talk to her she runs behind me and gets me back to her and when I am with her she runs away from me.
I like to talk to her daily but as she shows that she is very busy I left on her to call me and I dont call her bcoz I feel I would be disturbing her. I just dont know what to do.. its more than a week now she has not called me and not even a text. what 2 do?

My best friend went on holiday and asked me to check on her kids 23 and 15 years old while she was away. The 15 year old went to stay at his gran's so I went round a couple of times to take the older one to the supermarket, check that he wasn't having wild parties, took some food round as he can't cook etc. One day I went round he was sitting indoors when it was lovely outside saying that he didn't have any money so I stayed and watched a film with him.

A few days later he started sending text messages saying how much he enjoyed my company, that he wanted to spend more time with me, that he hopes I don't paint him a bad light to his mum, that he trusts me and he hopes I can trust him, that he wants me to cook more for him… you get the idea.

I have not replied. His mum is back any day now. She is really protective of her sons and I'm scared if I tell her she'll think I did something to entice him. He's 22, I'm 31. I could never and wou

I met this guy in November and we really clicked. We both have very busy lives and although have been texting / emailing since then each time either one of us suggests meeting up the other one is busy. Mainly my fault but sometimes him too. I am less busy now and he texted me about a few days ago saying he was still single and was thinking of going speed dating but cancelled and did I go?

1) Was this him finding out if I was still single?
2) He is very shy (or maybe uninterested!) should I ask him out?
3) If I was to ask him out (by text) any suggestions - direct or subtle
4) Shall I just give up


I am not worried about rejection as you only live once, but if I am going togive this a go I would like to have the best chance of success.

Advice please?

my friend got busted for forging some document concerning his visa.
he is being held in the detention cell at the immigration office at this moment.
its likely that he'll be deported and head for his country soon.
he's got a girlfriend, who also is my good friend, in our neighbouring country, and he needs to layover there to get on the plane headed for his home (there's no direct flight from my country to his).

so, here's the deal.
when i told her the news about him getting arrested for forging documents, she was deeply shocked and felt betrayed cuz she trusted him enough to have long distance relationship.
when i heard from him, he said he wanted enter her country to see her when he makes stopover there on his way from deportation.
i'm not an immigration expert so i don't know if he could even enter her country, but if he could, his girlfriend is not sure if she should meet him. she's now seeing him as half bf half criminal.

should i still encourage her to meet him or not?

ok he cheated on me, he hit me roughly 3 times in our 3 year realtionship..is that bad....he kicked me few times in one day cos he thought i went to see my ex [ didnt] and he slapped me twice for silly reasons .....hes also cheated and his behavious wasnt that great either.

First, thanks for taking the time to read this. It's long, but this is driving me nuts!

I'm a guy who's totally crazy about my best friend (a girl), and have been for awhile. We first met in 11th grade, dated soon after meeting, broke up 3 months later, but became best friends in 12th grade. Since then (almost 8 years), we've NEVER been single at the same time.

She set me up with my fiance, but found out she had cheated on me several times, and told me this before I made the mistake of getting married into a complete lie (so she's my ex-fiance now).

Basically, she is the girl who has looked out for me through thick and thin, and stood behind me through everything I've done, and I trust her more than any other woman I know. I love her so very much, and she makes me incredibly happy when I'm around her.

But she has a boyfriend, and they're a great couple, and I love her too much to mess that up. But I'll go crazy if I don't tell her how I truly feel.

What do I do?

I seem to be a horrible partner, or atleasts thats how I feel. I never say the word love, for the most part I don't really believe in it, so I am a fool some might say, but thats just who I am.

Why is it so hard for me to say "I love you" when he says it all the time? I believe its all about lust and nothing more then sexual attraction and a bond of good friendship.... Love does not really exist in my mind.

I have known this girl for 4 months now and we have been poking each other on facebook for 4 months

I like her but im not sure if she likes me, she goes to an out of state school and well, this poking thing has been goin on for awhile, sometimes i know she'll go a day or 2 without poking me (maybe signs of annoyance with the poke) but she will still poke me back

I'm sort of a shy girl. Don't get me wrong, I am friendly.. but only when I feel comfortable and confident.

I've heard from a lot of people that I know said that before they knew me, the perceived me as "mean" or even "a b*tch". I guess maybe it's because I don't smile too much if I'm alone.. I don't know why.

And I think guys feel intimidated by the fact that I seem UNFRIENDLY.
