The councelling session will help you both. It will give you both the opportunity to air your views and to be given an independent observation.
Be honest and up front, there is NOTHING the councellor hasn't heard before and so won't be shocked or embarrassed. Listen to each other openly and honestly and give each other the chance to be heard, WITHOUT interrupting.
Best of luck.

If you love eachother and you have the determination to make it work, it will happen. You both have to be highly motivated to want to do this.

Can I suggest something? When did you last go out with your husband? I reckon that going out for a meal once or twice a month and just having quality time to yourself to talk things through and chat about your day can make the world of difference!

As with being nervous, there isn't anything to be nervous about. A counsellor is there to help you, not strangle and bury you in the back garden!

Take Care and Best Wishes to you and your husband.

Don't pin all your hopes on the counsellor being a quick fix for all your problems. There are some incompetent counsellors out there, who Can and do cause more harm than good! Keep an open mind, and your common sense intact.

Just be yourself and be sure to talk about the things that bother you in the relationship. The therapist will guide you as he/she begins to get a picture of the problems.

If you are not honest the therapist can not help you.

Good Luck!!
