I am a separated father of 3 teenagers and my x wife is keeping things somewhat difficult in visiting them. Most of my commnications is txt messaging or long email. I have been separated for about 3 years. I never dated or met anyone that interested me or had not much time. In the past 8 months I have run into someone from philippines and has blossom into a wonderful relationship. The thing is to get her to Canada I will have to spend sometime there and I feel a bit guilty for my kids even though I talk to them on internet and will return. I am in my fifty and trying to think of the future and I am a bit lonely at times, ummm
what to do???

I've never been asked out and i've never known of a guy liking me.. (im 16btw) so i naturally.. thought i was ugly or something.

i've recently accepted that im not ugly.. my friends are honest.. they dont tell the 'friend truth' they tell the truth truth.. and they all tell me im pretty.. and according to a guy friend.. not a girl.. a guy told me im not fat.. i know im not skinny... but im normal size.. with a good shape... im not flat chested by any means.. and i've never had anyone say anything about a bad attitude... and recently.. i've had dudes all over the place checking me out and one of my friends even told me that her brother was looking through her pictures and said i was hot...

so why the hell dont guys show interest in me? i may not be the most sociable person.. but everyone knows who i am... and i get along with almost everyone..

again.. whats up? the only person to ever show interest.. is my creepy lesbian stalker! and i just ignore her.

i dont get it.

he's turning 17 in two weeks, i turned 14 in february...
he's AWESOME
we only see eachother once maybe twice on the weekends at practice... He lives about 6 HOURS away...
He has a gf...
He had a crush on me for a couple months b4 he met his gf...
I've had a crush on him since i met him 1 1/2 yrs ago..
it's no longer a crush...
we chat daily online and we tell eachother EVERYTHING...
when we see eachother we both smile then blush...
when we chat we still blush...
what can i do to get him to like me more?
What can i do to forget about him...
i truely love him, and i'm happy he has a gf, i wish them the best of luck
but can anything help?
He's all i think about, at school, night, practice especially...

My friend been trying to get child custody of his son and trying to prove the court that the the mother only using the child for money. She's been filing false charges against my friend but they been dropped due to lack of evidence. Ok to make the story short, the child is presently staying with the mom but the child is constantly absent from school. He's either late or absent and when he's in school he seems like he's not interested like before. Everytime the child is absent my friend would ask his ex why is not in school, she would always say that is is not feeling well. My friend is the one providing health insurance to his son but when he asked the Physician's office to if he can see the medical records they declined because the mom gave a letter saying not to give any information to the dad and even included in the letter that she has a restraining order against the dad (of course it's not true). Can she do that or the Physician office deny access medical records?

whenever there is a girl in need of something or just somelove (care or hug) i gave her that, and she is happy. but in particular, there is this girl for whom i even drew a portrait for her birthday, cuz i thought its better than being materialistic. she liked that. we are close friends, and we both are single. we sometimes go for lunch together as close friends, not as girlfriends and boyfriends. we also go to movies and malls, likeclose friends. when she is crying, im always there to wipe her tears, and sometimes she sleeps off in my laps. are we in love? or am i in love?

Im normally not one to let things get to me, usually I dont take things seriously . But their coment has left me feeling very hurt and a little resentful. We were having an Idle conversation about nothing In particular and he stated that "You just come across as being dumb alot of the time"
Am I over reacting?? Do you think I should even mention it to them? Or should I just forget about It and take a harden up pill?

He is addicted to meth and gets really crazy. He has ADHD too. He has guns. He's had trouble with the law many times. I am worried about my two little grandchildren. My daughter keeps hoping he will just get better. She focuses more on him than the kids. We know he won't get better any time soon. Should I make a report to a family services agency? The children have shown signs of abuse. CPS has already visited them. Would they do anything with this additional information, and would my daughter have the children taken away? I can't just watch and wait while this damage is being done. What else can grandparents do?

My boyfriend and i dated 2 years ago for a very short time but we got to know each other pretty well. We lost contact but started talking again in Jan of this year. He came home for a break not too long after that. We decided about mid feb to begin dating again. He asked me to marry him and i said yes! When he gets home we plan on getting an apt together. My question is am i too young to be getting married and moving out or am i just the right age? I feel i'm at about the right age but i've been hearing different. Most of my friends and married and on their own. I kinda feel im farther behind then they are in that dept. I love him with all my heart and i honestly think that we'll make it in the long run. so this guy asked me out two weeks ago, and i no him very well from work and i decided to hang out with him. he flirted with me the entire night and everything was great and as time went on the more he flirted with me and told me he liked me, then he stopped talking to me for while and later told me he was scared of relationships so i backed off. I am sure there are countless mothers whose child is about , or is sure to be deployed. Our children are the most precious thing in life to us. We are proud of them beyond measure and at the same terrified at what they are about to face. What we say may be our last words spoken to this precious being. We want them to have comfort and strength in our words. We want them to return to us safe and sound , to know our pride and love . I know my own child will remember every word I say , and maybe at a point that these words could be the thought on his mind at a crucial time.
I do not want him to remember a terrified tearful mom. I will be, but I want to give him strength , to know my pride and love. I want him to be safe and careful. I know this man child is so brave , to the point that he would be the hero. I want him to be brave and proud, I want him to come home safe too. I am so torn at the right thing to say. I want someone that has been there to talk to me.
