We lived together for 2 yrs, a serious relationship. Her visa ran out and she had to leave the country. Her application papers to be in the country was still in process and can take a year to clear so I decided to be with her in asia. Her and I were in love. We were already talking about marriage in the future. I ended up applying, got accepted, and got my visa/permits all ready to be where she was and continue our lives. Then her parents all of a sudden changed their minds and said it wasn't a good idea. They are very traditional. Heartaches between us, so after 2 months she broke up with me.
After 8 months, she calls, it was the 1st time we heard our voices. Then we started talking again on msn. She says, "I think i'll be approved soon, I'm sick being here. I'm coming back." I ask if she has a boyfriend. She said "NO", twice. I know she wants to come back, but for me? I didnt ask. Then she ask "do your parents miss me? I miss them a lot"

What can she be thinking/feeling?

I have had a thing for my best guy friend for three years now. I told him how I felt 2 years ago, but he said he didn't like me that way. Things were a little awkward for a while, but now we're better friends than ever. He tells me I'm pretty/hot a lot, but then tells me he sees me as a sister. I'm getting mixed signals here...Also, my other best friend (who we always hang out with) says that she feels like a third wheel when we all hang out. She also told me that my guy friend asked another mutual friend if I like him. would he have done this if he wasn't interested in me that way? thank you!

i met her and told her i was wealthy.i didnt think we would end up together so i lied.then we fell in love and i felt it was to late to tell the truth.the truth was i had everything but lost it.i thought id get it back while with her and if i told her then she would leave.ive told her the truth now but she cant get past it.what can i do to help her get past this.i love her so much.

my b/f looks at porn online. Its seems he used to look at women, now its very young girls also. I have found teen sites online and some of the girls look like they are just hitting puberty. This is really bothering me alot. I confronted him about it, and he didnt have a answer of why. I asked him to get help with this, I feel its become a big problem. Im thinking of breaking up with him, but he did say he would seek help. Guys what do you think? Will he change if he gets the help he needs.

My daughter is going to her junior prom. She was asked by a shy boy (I got the impression that he's very nice..he gave her a dozen roses when he asked her. Took a lot of nerve if he's shy, so I give him a lot of credit.) She's a relatively outgoing person with a good head on her shoulders and a lot of common sense.

Since her mother and I are divorced, I'm not up on a lot of her social activities, but I believe this is might be her first real date. Her date's family doesn't have a lot of money (that's not an issue) and it doesn't matter since the dinner and dance are held in one place.

My questions: #1) I want to meet this young man just to say "hello" and to see my daughter all dressed up. If I asked her if it was OK to just drop by for 2 minutes, do you think that would be too much to ask?

And #2) since her date's funds might be limited, is there anything that I could do or get the two of them to make it even more special than it will already be?

i'm an 18 year old senior in high school and my boyfriend is a 19 year old freshman in college. we've been together for over 5 years and i am going to a school next year a few miles from him and plan on living together...I feel like we're ready to be engaged...i mean we know eachother so well, have been together for so long, and are planning our futures together...but this is when we're talkinga bout it lightly..recently I told my boyfriend I was ready for engagement and he said he didn't feel the same way. he says he wants to be with me forever but doesn't think hes ready for that big of a commitment because hes still young...i agree we're young but i think it could work..and we wouldnt get married for another 3 or so years, at least until he gets a job out of college...but if we're planning on being together...why doesn't he like the idea of engagement now? i'm going to try not to get annoying about it and give him time but i just don't understand...any help/ideas...please
