I have had a thing for my best guy friend for three years now. I told him how I felt 2 years ago, but he said he didn't like me that way. Things were a little awkward for a while, but now we're better friends than ever. He tells me I'm pretty/hot a lot, but then tells me he sees me as a sister. I'm getting mixed signals here...Also, my other best friend (who we always hang out with) says that she feels like a third wheel when we all hang out. She also told me that my guy friend asked another mutual friend if I like him. would he have done this if he wasn't interested in me that way? thank you!

Guy don't even notice girls they are not interested in let alone ask about them. He doesn't think of you as a sister, he wouldn't even be your friend if he didn't want to hit it with you. Let him know you want more and he will respond correctly...either that or he is gay (not that there is anything wrong with that).

Well, you say that now you're 'better friends than ever' so maybe hes actually starting to see the light for once. I really think hes warming up to you and he likes you! He's just SLOWLY getting around to thinking of you as someone he might want to be in a relationship w/. He likes you a lot, but isn't sure that it would be a good idea to actually "be a couple" w/you, so, I would guess he's waiting for you to make the next move.... again. Try it out. If you get the same response, let it go. He's obviously just interested in someone be interested in him.

He is definately interested in you. If a guy asks a friend if you like them, then they like you. That is good that he sees you as a sister... everyone says that you should get married (not in your case, but similar) to your best friend. I would go on a few romantic dates with him before being boyfriend and girlfriend- that way if it doesnt work out, you dont lose your friendship. But if it does, then you can go out.

no he wouldnt do that before he may have been off balance did you ask him at an ackward moment? but now he's thikin about it " hummmmm ya she is hot no wait ive knowen her so long and there was that one time i told her i dont like her like that " see how he could be a bit mixed up too? if you still like him i would say ask him again how he feels (side note dont sleep with him you may never see him again if you do if you really like him dont sleep with him till your married to him sex kills a young relationship it allways does it wont be the same if you sleep with him)

Honestly, you shouldn't worry with whether he likes you or not. Go with the flow, flirt with him heavier and heavier. If he distances himself or shows signs of not liking you, back off. Otherwise, if he likes you back, he'll flirt with you more and more... eventually you'll kiss... and the moment will settle itself into something much more!
