I was sexually abused when i was little by one of my neighbors. She was a few years older than me, we'd play "house" but she took it too far.

Now I'm in high school and am trying to be a normal teenager. I am having problems being in relationships. I want to do what everyone else my age does but I'm constantly pushing every guy I like away. Almost everyone I know thinks I'm a tease and calls me prude, but its not that I dont want to do anything its that I'm scared and cant help but think about that horrifying experience when i was little.

I dont know how to handle this and change things. I want to stop pushing away every guy i have feelings for. They always get confused when i tell them how i feel but wont even kiss them or anything else, even when i told them i want to.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I am a high school student and I have been told before I am beautyful but i beleave I am just average. I have had bad relationships in the past and I am tired of looking for someone who only wants me for a gf so he can tell his friends he has one. Is there something wrong with me? Or is that all a guy would want from me, to boast to his friends? I just want someone to be my bf because he likes me for me....not for his image....is that so hard now a days?

Most girls don't know they have sooo much power over guys by sex alone. They do all these stupid things to impress guys when it's absolutely unnecessary.

I've been dating this guy for a few months now, our relationship was good at 1st but went down hill, we said we'd stay friends no matter what. I sent him a message putting an end to our relationship but in a good way, making it clear we would still be friends no matter what. Well he never responded to the message, we now haven't talked in a week. I got a new # and messaged him if he wanted the new number to let me know. He also read that and never responded. Why would he not want to stay friends with me? Relationship didn't really end bad, he kinda started playing games so out of both of us I should be the one not wanting to be friends but now he's giving me the cold shoulder, WHY? I really care about him and think I even fell for him but I know in the long run our relationship couldn't work, there are to many odds against us. Do I just let him go or go out of my way again to contact him? would that be doing to much?? PLZ HELP!!

I work with this guy. He is always saying my name. Alot of times when he says things to me he will throw my name in there. He makes up stupid little ryhmes about me. Calls "mouthy" in a playful way. I am so not, iam a very quiet person. Invites me to sit with him sometimes. And we smile at each other and make good eye contact.

I have a crush on him, but could this mean he likes me too? Would he act like this if was not interested in something more than friends. I don't really see him acting like this towards other girls at work. BTW i am 27,he's 29.

My "best-friend" always has to point out what I'm doing wrong in any stressful situation. Sometimes I just need her to listen and not play devil's advocate all the time. She's always been this way. Sometimes I totally disagree w/ what she's "advising" me to do but I keep my mouth shut to avoid conflict. I stood up to her today and she thought I was angry when I just asked her to listen instead of giving advice. Is this friendship doomed?

After how many years of being together should a couple get engaged. Is there a cut-off time? If you haven't been engaged after dating for a certain amount of time, is it never going to happen? I'm talking about mature people over the age of 23/24, educated, full-time jobs, etc.

My bf just told me that my bestfriend told him some bad things about me. I have proof that she hasn't even talked to him. He claims her husband called him but they don't have his number. Should I confront him with his lies or just break up with him?

My new plan is that when ANYONE asks my anything I am not comfortable with, I am just going to say "I don't answer personal questions' or 'that's personal'

Now when I say this to my mother she will be defensive and tell me how I am being rude and it is a perfectly normal question... etc etc. It is all my fault of course. At that point I plan on telling her good bye and haning up the phone... or saying to my kids 'ok kids, lets go, grandma is crossing my bounderies again...' and leave (or ask her to leave if it is in my house). And refuse to discuss it further (even though she will try to get me to talk about it 'don't you want to talk about it'? "what about the kids, don't you think they need time with me?' 'don't I get one more chance?' etc). I plan on just repeating myself... 'I need to ask you to go now" over and over until she goes. Her husband can take her side.. they need to go

Does this sound like a good game plan take control of my life again?

I've been going out with this guy for about 8 months now. He's great, though a little quirky sometimes. He's pretty introverted but it's never been a big problem. We broke up once months ago but got back together after we realized it was silly and we've been doing amazingly since then. We were having a great time together Wednesday and then he left to go to work. When I saw him Thursday morning he looked upset and then was like "This relationship is over!" and refused to give me any reason besides "I'm just really angry."

I don't understand. We weren't fighting. I didn't do anything behind his back that he could have found out about. I'm going insane wondering what's going on. What would make a person pull something like this completely out of the blue?

Everyday I go to school and come home to clean and cook for my family every since I was11years old I rarely go anywhere. I do as much as I can to keep my mother from stressing out but my grown brother and his wife and kids make it hard on me and my mother being as she’s always helping others and not me I’m left out of everything I hold the family together ever day if I’m not cleaning I’m changing diapers and if I’m not doing that I’m Cooking and if not that its something in the house that needs to be done and I’m the one doing it I don’t have time for my self I’m always trying to please others but my self I’m stressed everyday and I can’t take it anymore I don’t want to take care of kids that aren’t mine. I’m tried of being the only person in the house trying to keep it together. I fight with my brothers every day over things that are stupid. I get hit by my brothers, we fight all the time none stop. Everyday is like a cycle, the same thing everyday. I just want it to stop to end.

My partner and I are watching "Fire in the Sky" right now or at least he is, while I ignore it. He keeps asking me what I would think if he said aliens got him. I said, I would think he was either on drugs or had some sort of psychotic episode. Now he is angry, as he doesn't deny the posibility of aliens and says that if it happened to him he would have to lie so that I didn't think he was an idiot. I don't like that. I'd rather he tell me what's going on. The risk that your partner will think you are an idiot, but taking it always is part of marriage! What do you think?

Have u ever played childish mind games that made a woman just say "I've had enough" and wouldn't return your phone calls or emails? Please don't say that guys don't play games. I'll admit not all do but I'm referring to the ones that do. When I say games I mean that stupid hard to get chase thing that a guy does. I also want to know how did u feel in the end?

I mean how important is it to you? Can it effect your marriage? Should it be overlooked? I ask because sex before my marraige was wonderful and after it is not too good anymore. It is too quick and feels like hubbie hardly puts any effort into it, therefore I rarely want to anymore. I almost feel like why should I bother if I am never satisfied. I have talked to him about but i wonder if i should still continue to tell him or just get over it and keep my mouth shut. Is it really big deal? Am I exagerating?

Girls, if you found out that your husband had been having an affair, and the cheating rat told you who the other woman was, where she lived and worked, would you confront her? If so, why?

Okay. I'm going to my senior prom with this guy that i've liked for a really long time. The problem is that his ex-girlfriend is trying to come to our prom too in the SAME color dress although she's not his date. I'm really worried that she's going to start some type of drama because I guess that she still likes him and I have no clue on what I should do. I'm afraid that she'll somehow win him over on that night and that I will become just a tag-along...

I don't want to take my husband's last name when we get married in a few months. I like my name and it is part of who I am. I also don't want to have to go through the ordeal of changing it with banks, credit cards etc. Also (not to be pessimistic), but I don't want to worry about having to change it back if we get divorced (remember, there's a 50% chance - I'm realistic). I think hypenating it is a pain and I don't want to. My family is making a huge deal about this. Why does it matter so much to people?!?
