omg! mi reading tea cher wanted us 2 o a skool project of some1 famouse. well i picked cline dion. we had 2 weeks 2 read a book on them and i let my parents no that i was doing it on her.and just 2day they tell me that they dont want me 2 do it on her. the frwakin project is due on monday. n i'm almost finished with tha book .They say that i shouldnt look upon people like that . their all like no u should have been some1 more important.i'm like whatever...they want me 2 swich it now god i hate them!!!!!! what should i do and do u guyz agree withem??

I would go ahead and do my report on Celine Dion. No, I don't agree with your parents at all. You have read the book, and it should be your choice since you have to do the project. Also, Deline Dion is a good choice. She has multiple albums, and she does a look of charity and humanitarian work. She sets an example for a lot of people. It isn't you with the problem--it's your parents. They shound just like my dad--CONTROL FREAKS!!!!!

you could always choose someone else to make them happy and try oyur hardsest to get there book done. or you could do teh celine dion and not tell them, but then what if they find out?.. so do what you think you can but if you decide to do someone else then tell ur mom and dad that your grade might not be a great because you did not havve enough time to properly research and read the book on your new person...

Continue with it, make a good school project and prove them to be wrong.
I understand them in the way they are thinking, they probably want you to choose someone who had more political or cultural influence, but you might show in the project what influence she has in your generation, and why you did pick her.

By the way, don't hate them for this. They are not trying to put you down, they just hope that you are learning something out of this.
