I am a high school student and I have been told before I am beautyful but i beleave I am just average. I have had bad relationships in the past and I am tired of looking for someone who only wants me for a gf so he can tell his friends he has one. Is there something wrong with me? Or is that all a guy would want from me, to boast to his friends? I just want someone to be my bf because he likes me for me....not for his image....is that so hard now a days?

1. You're in high school. I'm not being condescending. Boys in high school (I was one once) have no idea what they want. None.
2. The chances of you having a long term relationship with someone you meet in high school that lasts longer than 6 months is about 9,000,000,000,000 to 1 - so don't sweat the fact these guys are fickle. In four years - you won't care about them anyway.
3. Study hard and go to college. That's where the REAL fun is. It's an entire new world that will blow your mind. Never fear, young grasshopper, these troubles shall pass and you'll have all those dudes who treated you like a jerk in school falling over the feet to talk to you at the 10 year reunion.

Maybe your taste in boys needs to change? Many insecure girls deliberately choose bad boys cause they think they are exciting, and then end up with abusive hurtful relationships. Some of the shy boys might be harder to find, but are better for you in the end. Maybe skip the loud mouth ones, and search a little deeper for the sensitive quiet types that find it hard to ask a beauty like you out.

I am a guy that likes a girl for who she is. I told that to a girl that I liked and she found it hard to believe. Most guys are just trying to go with the flow. Following bad examples is what happens. Just wait and the rigth guy will come along.

You need to be patient and stop looking. You will have a boyfriend soon enough and it will happen when you least expect it. Enjoy your life, you don't need a man to do that. Beauty lies on the inside and it's all in how you see yourself.

Take your time and meet people other places like at church and neighborhood gatherings. School is just one place, but eventually you'll meet people at work and in your local community.

it sounds like ur insecure. There are many guys out their who really like the person they're with and who aren't using them as a trophy. Realize that u are beautiful and stop thinking people are going to hurt you.
