I hope ya'll can help my best friend is getting married. the problem though is that her aunt is getting married for the second time possibly her 3rd marriage, any way both my friend and her aunt chose the day of the anniversary of her aunts parents, my friends grandparents, may they rest in peace. HOwever her aunt seems to bet trying to get her to switch the date or make a luncheon instead of a dinner party at a golf resort. The aunt is putting her down and telling her it would be best and more economic since my friend and her fiance have a baby and are students and working, and they do find it a bit challenging to come up with perhaps $10-12 thousand. Who should step down from the wedding date, the rude aunt even mentioned my friend moving her wedding a day after may i add my friend is 19 her first wedding and the aunt is in her 50's with four kids she has the right to get married again but seems very selfish. she even commented she shouldn't have the wedding since my friend doesnt

My new husband still speaks with his ex-wife (approx. every other month she will call) about silly things like "the digital camera stopped working, what to do?" or "who was our mechanic?" and things like this. He is an amazing guy and I have no (let me repeat, NO) doubt that he only wants to help her like he would help anyone else who requested it.

I have never been married, so I do not pretend to understand the connection or sense of responsibility one might feel toward an ex spouse, still, I can't help but feel that his connections to her should sever entirely. They did not have any children, so there is nothing/no one tying them to each other. In an effort to not sound like a child, it's my turn now.

Is it fair of me to ask, that, in the case of this one person, I wish he would not be so helpful, or should I embrace this wonderful quality in him?

If you have experienced something similar to this, please share your insights.

I was married for 5 years, we divorced in 2005 and stayed apart 15 months, and have been back together for 9 months. During our time apart we did still see each other every once in a while but nothing serious. We both started dating other people. But then decided to try again. Things were good at first. All the problems from our marriage he was trying to make different. but now he is back to the way he was. He does work and provide for us. But we spend no time together as a couple, unless he wants to somewhere, no time as a family. He is gone from 7am until sometimes 9pm. 7 days a Week. dont have a joint checking. Every thing is in his name. Our sex life is a quickie every couple of days, with me left out. When he does come home we dont talk, nothing he just falls into his chair and there he stays until bedtime. I dont work but do take care of our kids, house, cleaning, bills, cooking, feeding his animals, trash, everything. All he does is work. Can this get better?

If there is a woman who I am interested in, she usually isn't interested me.

If a woman is interested in me, she usually isn't someone who I am interested in.

Why is life so freaking unfair this way!?!?!? I'm not looking for Ms Perfect, I just want someone compatible who I am interested in and she is interested in me!

I was asked at one time to call a college and verify that I knew this person, which I did not. I never had the time to make any calls. I have chatted and talked on the phone with this guy for over 2 years, and he keeps telling me that he is going to make his way over to me and make me his wife. I am still in misbelief over this...but he keeps telling me it is true...but am still sceptical. Now he tells me that he is having 2 laptops to me, and he wants me to check them out and mail them to him in nigeria. I am a very suspicious person these days, because I have been taken to the cleaners from someone over there last year...literally the cleaners, because now I do not have the funds to pay back the bank.

It seems to me that it's the norm these days and aparently people arn't finding anything wrong with leaving their marriages and families after 20+ years for some woman that throws herself at you one day and keeps inching her way in untill she can talk you into leaving your wife and kids.

do men really like girls who have a few curves or size zero, being honest?

This one is aimed towards the guys, but anyone should feel free to answer.

I was just wondering why is it the women want confident men, but men seem not to like confident women? I know there is a difference between cocky and confidence, but even then it seems cocky guys still win out in the end.

I also noticed that guys say that it is a turnoff when a woman knows or thinks she is attractive/hot. Why is that? It doesn't seem like as big of an issue when a guy thinks he is hot, so why is it any different for a woman?

Just want some feedback and please refrain from being obnoxious.

Been seeing a guy for about a month..very full on, everything seemed to be going good. However, haven't heard from him for 2 days as he had to work. Sent him a text asking him if he was ok and received this reply:-

"I'm just not into doing anything at the moment, just can't seem to get out of this funk i'm am in. I assume it will pass. bare with me"

What does that mean? Is he finishing with me but doesn't know how to do it? I don't mind if he is (well it's only been a month!) but not too sure what he is saying

Is it normal to feel like you've known someone forever even if you have only been around each other for a couple of months? When our eyes meet there is this connection I've never felt with anyone before, when we're around each other, the few times we get to talk, partially due to my shyness in general, it's like we make up for each other's weaknesses.

Maybe it's just a big opposites attract thing, lol, I'm not very experienced with this sort of thing to be honest. My parents won't let me date for two more years, so this is rather confusing.

I have a friend who always makes bad decisions about men. For example she has a major crush on this man who is an Alcohalic/addict she thinks he is really hot and sleeps with him every time he calls her no matter what time of night or morning. She thinks she can help him get clean and he is constantly flaking out on her using jail as an excuse...classy right. Anyway I am trying to be a friend to her and she knows how I feel about this guy. But I am so sick of hearing about the guy and the poor decisions she is making that Im kind of ignoring her now. I feel bad because I want to be there for her but all I have is negitive things to say. Let me express that I have told her many many times that I think this guy is bad news and she is going to get hurt but she says I know...but hes so hot. How can I argue with that logic??? I don't want to be a Bi##h! What would you do?

We've been dating for eight months, but for about 2-3 months now I've been trying to get my boyfriend to clean his room.

It wouldn't be a problem if there were just clothes strewn about, but there are DVDs and CDs and food containers and lots of other random stuff. Walking from the door to his bed, there's no guarantee that I won't step on something fragile or disgusting.

I've asked him nicely, tried bribes/exhortion, tried talking to him about how much it bothers me (it's really distracting and gross and hindering), but he won't do it. He keeps saying he will, but then blames it on laziness/busyness when it doesn't get done.

I'm not asking for a full clean here; I just want him to get rid of the food containers (so he doesn't get bugs) and to clear a pathway from the door to his bed.

I'm sick and tired of this. How can I get him to clean it? What can I say so he won't get annoyed with me for constantly bringing it up?

Well first of all she only calls me when she needs something and then it seems everytime I call her she has some sort of drama going on in her life and she drags me into it and it's driving me crazy. Two years ago I told her I didn't want to be friends with her anymore over her answering machine, but now we're in high school and were mature now about these situations or at least I am. When she got the voice mail she called me back and asked me why I didn't want to be friends with her anymore I told her the truth that she only calls me when she wants something and that she just has too much drama she drags me into, but there was also another part she hooked me up with this guy who she said she went out with, but then after the guy and I started going out she said she "forgot" to tell me he was a low life and perverted, but I didn't listen I just kept dating him so when I told her that I didn't want to be friends anymore she thought it was all over a guy. :Help!!!

I am 17 years old and am interested in a 21-22 year old. He was interested in me until he found out my age. Refraining from legality reasons, why does age matter? Why do guys take age into such consideration? Leave out my parents, as well, they are six years apart and therefore can't say much about it.
