I can only offer you an opinion to this, I would probably take it that this bloke maybe a bit of a dramatist. He may be trying to get more attention from you (in a blokey kind of way). If you want to continue seeing him you have to go round there and ask him, tell him you didn't understand the 'funk' thing and just be honest.

I think hes just asking for a bit of space and time. He might be having some personal problems - work - family whatever - I think you should just send him a txt back saying that you're totally cool giving him a bit of leeway and if you be of any help you're just at the end of the phone.
Then dont contact him anymore - I know it'll be tough for you but you have to respect his wishes here.
xx

It means he hasn't grasped spelling yet.
Sorry... that's just a pet hate of mine.
Well if he's bothered to say '[bear] with me,' then at least he wants you to know that he wants you to stick around. As you said, the relationship's been very full-on. That sort of situation eventually takes its toll on people and they need a bit of space and time to catch their breath.
Don't worry so much. Just wait and see.

translation:
'im chilling and not ready to get into anything serious right now, but i would like to keep you around if you wanna wait for me. "
He might even have another girl or a few, and he's caught up in some drama!! tell you one thing... its springtime and usually the time where this happens! do your self a favor and turn the tables.. never appear to be available to show him that your not sittin around waiting. make him come to you, and prove that he wants you in his life cause if he wanted u he would have the decency to talk to u.. good luck

It sounds like he has a problem not related to you that he needs time to get his head around it. He probably doesn't want to talk to you about it, because he hasn't known you long enough.
Drop him a text asking if you can be of any help and then give him some space to sort it out.
It doesn't sound like you've got anything to be paranoid about to me.

You don't hear from him in 2 days and you're fretting? It's a new relationship and the guy is probably feeling a little stifled with all the "very full on" attention you've been giving him. Give him some breathing space please!

As you have only been seeing this guy for a month why was it "full on" already. I would be careful it sounds as if he could be busy with someone else, dont let him dangle you on a string. Good luck

Maybe he is dealing with some issues of his own. Maybe he is trying to figure out if he really wants to be in a relationship or not. You should be thankful he is doing it now instead of 6 months from now.

I think he meant that he is in a rut, so to speak. I wouldn't give up on him a man is very bold and telling us that they don't want us anymore. Give him a bit of a chance and understand why he is going through this and see if you can help him with it. Take care Heather

he's just feeling depressed, he did say bare with him, so i'd assume he's not planning on dumping you! you need to make an effort to meet up and find out whats going on, he may just need someone to talk to, you know how men are, so shy about sharing their feelings an all!
good luck!
