I was asked at one time to call a college and verify that I knew this person, which I did not. I never had the time to make any calls. I have chatted and talked on the phone with this guy for over 2 years, and he keeps telling me that he is going to make his way over to me and make me his wife. I am still in misbelief over this...but he keeps telling me it is true...but am still sceptical. Now he tells me that he is having 2 laptops to me, and he wants me to check them out and mail them to him in nigeria. I am a very suspicious person these days, because I have been taken to the cleaners from someone over there last year...literally the cleaners, because now I do not have the funds to pay back the bank.

Don't send him any money!!!
I saw a report on this on 20/20.
The guy was leading her on. She wired him money and waited at the airport for the guy. He never came!!!

Try to get some info so that you can report him to the authorities. Save the receipts and record the phone conversations if possible.

It could be a scam. Be cautious with people from Nigeria and other unknown places where you do not know their intentions. If I were you, I'd stay away from this person.

There are probably scams. I'd beware of this stuff.
