Suggest anger management classes or cognitive therapy. The thing is with angry people, they don't think they have a problem. This can get very serious and medication is sometimes needed for the anger management. Other times the therapy or classes can help them learn to cope with their anger and learn the cause. Most likely he has suffered some type of abuse in the past or he was raised in an angry home. Good luck to you and your family!

if you see an episode...a restraining order is paramount...he needs to know IMMEDIATELY...that this is not ok ..and that you as her parents are GOING TO take action..especially if there is domestic abuse...

if that is drastic..take him to the golf range or batting cage and introduce him to YOUR way of resolving the situation...make him stand near the pitching machine in a batting cage or put him INTO the golf range itself...and let him know that...this is how his wife feels...VERY vulnerable...knowing that anytime she can get hit..and it WILL hurt..and if she doesn't...then it is like she survived this round..but will she survive the next?

then....let him hit a bucket of golf balls or a rounds of batting cages.till that frustration is gone...it might help the whole perspective thing as well as getting the frustration out...

IF HE HAS A TEMPER AND IS THREATING TO YOUR DAUGHTERS SAFETY THEN SHE NEEDS TO THINK ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP SHE IS IN. IF HE HAS ANGER PROBLEMS/ISSUES THAT"s SOMETHING HE NEEDS TO DEAL WITH ON HIS OWN. AND YOUR DAUGHTER DOESNT NEED TO STICK AROUND FOR HIM TO STRAIGHTEN UP. TELL HIM TO BREATHE AND COUNT TO TEN.
