Is it normal to feel like you've known someone forever even if you have only been around each other for a couple of months? When our eyes meet there is this connection I've never felt with anyone before, when we're around each other, the few times we get to talk, partially due to my shyness in general, it's like we make up for each other's weaknesses.
Maybe it's just a big opposites attract thing, lol, I'm not very experienced with this sort of thing to be honest. My parents won't let me date for two more years, so this is rather confusing.

No it doesn't sound weird. It's called love! I think love is like that powerful that can attract 2 persons who are completely different. About you being shy and your parents not letting you date I mean take the risk to be happy but don't take it like "date" him keeping it secret from your parents. You can enjoy a really good relationship w/ this guy w/o going out and stuff. How you describe that you two make up for each other's weaknesses I think you guys are perfect for each other i think he really takes you seriously and i'm sure he'll understand that you cannnot go out w/ him. That's all I can say to you. You may not believe in what i do but maybe you've found the one. I believe in past lifes and maybe you guy have met in the past and have another chance to get together and live happy forever *(this may explain why you feel you've known him all along) !!! Give yourself a chance to just LOVE!!!

Enjoy this feeling. You are experiencing a strong attraction to him physically and emotionally. I wouldn't say that you're in "love", because you haven't even talked enough to fall in "love". But sparks are sure flying. Maybe love is on it's way. And if you're parents won't let you date, maybe you could sit down and talk with them and see if you could see him socially as friends, like going to the movies or bowling. But yes, the way you feel is normal and not weird. I too have felt this before. Good Luck and have fun!

actually this doesnt sound wierd at all. i think that maybe you have found your soul mate. this is a very special bond that you and him have. its great that you two feel like you've known each other forever. that is a very rare thing to have and im glad that you get to experience it.
although you arent allowed to date yet, this gives you two plenty of time to get to know each other even better. and by the time you can start dating (and if it is him you date) the relationship between you two will be very strong and you'll probably be inseparable too.

i feel like you definitely can have a connection with someone you've only a short time. its a matter of your personalities matching, and just the vibes you have with eachother. or maybe its just a crush? i dont know. but i do think it can happen. if you're not going to be dating this person at least you can start a great friendship. thats the best beginning.

i had this girl sable who wasnt and opposite more of an alike though that i felt a connection with and had a huge crush on but s ofar nothings happened and im not sure she wants it too so if you care about a person enough i guess its best to just let them be but i dont know i dont have guts when it comes to girl approching.

Continue to hang out and talk to him. Get to know him. It could be an attraction. You never know, if this guy is really nice, your parents might say that you can date when you are younger.

Sometimes we do come across people who seem familiar and we can get very personal and we are very comfortable with the other person. So yes, I agree with that.
