I asked this guy out on a date in front of his coworker, he said yes and suddenly blushd. I got shy and didn't follow through with it. I guess I got cold feet.

Three months later, I see him at his work, he pretends not to see me but he gives his friend a quick glance and he smiles to himself. He walks by, says hello but he doesn't wait on me (his friend does) and when I finally get the guts to ask him, he says he's now involved.

So this is payback, right? For me not following up with the date in a timely fashion?

FYI, The guy is in his late twenties, and so am I.

I am 29 and qualify from University this year into a good career in psychiatry. My personal life is very different. I have been with my ex partner since 23. I love him, but he has alcohol misuse problems, wont get a job and lies in bed until lunchtime. He happily lives off benefits and says he does not want children or any responsibility yet (he is 28) He lives with a rich Dad who pays for everything. I want a family etc. I have met somebody else who I like and he is serious about me, wants traditional things in life like I do, but I am torn what to do as my heart loves my recent ex. I have both now wanting to be with me and I am confused. My ex wants to go out as friends until he goes through AA but I know he will relapse as he says he loves drinking.

It happened one time and I didn't tell him because I didn't want him to get all insecure on me.I've never cheated before and though this way no one gets hurt.I really love my boyfriend but he says now he can't trust me.Isn't he being just a bit harsh?

I had been dating this guy for the past one year .. Yesterday he told me this "I think I could never have enough of holding you close....and admiring your body minutely".

We shared nothing beyond kisses and hugs but I guess im falling inlove with him. I never told him how I feel. All he said to me was that he likes me a lot. The reason why I never had an intimate relationship with him is because one I thought it was too soon, and second I was not ready then. But he seem to take it positively. Just wondering if he is still lusting after me or is he falling in love with me?

I'm geeky alright like sci-fi and video game. I like wearing loose comfortable clothing I don't like tight jeans, skirts or anything tight. yeaterday my other half was moaning about money and told me not to spend too much of my student loan when i get next month. then he goes out and buys a £100 mp3 player. i blew up cos my loan goes on stuff that my daughter needs and stuff for my self ie books, clothes, train fares to uni, bills etc. i don;t expect him to support my daughter as her dad helps out.
the other half is off to two concerts and goes back home to ireland once a month to see his dad which is fine. he said he'd supported my decision to go to uni and i've nearly finished mu first year. am i being unreasonble?

why does a man get mad at his wife for having an affair which I think is appropriate. however a woman will usually get mad at the woman if he cheats on her that doesn't seem appropriate?
I realize they both cheated and they both could have said they had no b/f g/f therefore tricking the other but get mad at the one cheating on you not the one they are cheating with?
or is that wrong and why?

I have a friend who has been going through a lot lately and i've been worried about her. I tell her that she can talk to me whenever she isn't feeling her best but i'm not sure if she really knows that i do care. So many people now a days don't listen. Ugh. That just makes other people lose hope in trusting people. Some of us really do listen but those who don't mess it up for us. Not to mention for the people that need someone to talk to. How can i really assure that she really knows that i'm here for her? And when she does (if she does) what can i tell her? "Everything will get better" seems too much of a cliche thing to say. I want my words to have some sort of an impact on her so she can be happy for atleast a minute.
