if you have come to the determination that your social scene overall is not what you need and you decide to leave it completely, which would you pursue? A girl i've been crushing on (though i don't think my now over social life would be too impressive); a part time job(to fill the void and increase $); or a move to a new city (dedication to getting the new job/scene)?

Am I wrong? Am I the one who is making the mistake of losing someone over something dumb?
Am I wrong for feeling this way?
My boyfriend smoked pot when I met him. I also smoked awhile ago when I met him(about 3 years ago). I only smoked for about 3 months and then quit completely. It has been 3 years of me and my bf being together and I can't stand him smoking anymore. When I smoked I use to do it for fun. He says he smokes so he is calm and can just chill. He does smoke like 3 times a day. but only alittle at a time just to calm him down. I just feel like he should not have to smoke when I hang out with him. I try to make him feel comfortable and just feel like I don't make him feel good enough and he needs a drug. When I went over his house last night, after a hour of me being there he asked me to drive him to get some weed. I was only staying for 3 hours. We fought about it, He said he just wanted to be relaxed while I was there....wtf, he was not smoking when he was alone.. I came there to make him feel better. we only chill like twice a week.

Additional Details

We ended up breaking up. Am I wrong for flipping out over him smoking? I just can't take the smell..him acting high and stupid...What if we had kids and they saw him smoking.. I don't know..

Why does it seem like it is just a problem to everyone else besides me and my boyfriend, that we are in love. we are young we are still in high school but we love each other and we are planning to be together for a long time. People make such a big deal that we like each other so much, it's not like we are having sex cause we are not.I am tired of all these people trying to break us up and not liking that we are together. What should i do it is stressing me out? Like we were'nt meant to be. Why do people gotta act like that?

She rarely wants to have sex. After our second child, we had sex 7 times over the next two years. I would love sex twice daily, but I'd settle for twice weekly.

I am 100% sure that she's not having an affair.

I've heard about differing libidos and how they change oer the years. I've heard that women in their 30s want it a lot more than they did in their 20s, but we are both in our mid 30s, and still no change.

Now, my wife has battled depression, so is on anti-depressants. She's also on synthroid, for a thyroid problem, and birth control (for several reasons -- not just birth control). From what I've read, they all can lead to decreased libido).

Yes, we've talked about it, and the makes her feel inadequate as a wife.

We've tried counseling too.

I love my wife sooooo much. Our marriage is great, except this area.

I try all the romance stuff too - flowers etc. I do all the laundry, cooking, shopping, most of the kids stuff too.

Any advice for a sexually frustrated guy?

I am a giving person. When I care about someone, I give my all. I cared for him and I thought he cared for me. I realize now I was just entertainment for him. The sex was real good for him but soon after a year...i got tired of it but still kept doing it. I left town to get over him and when I returned I never told him I was here. Eventually, I told him. He still asks me am I ok. It seems he cares but then he does things and says things to hurt me. Did he really expect me to want to still sleep with him now? After being broke down through a marriage and dealing with him, I have just had about enough. I refuse to take his calls and I made a choice to let it go COMPLETELY. Even the desire is gone. How do I make sure I don't attract men like this again?

My ex and I dated for couple of months in the past. We had so much in common, enjoyed what we did together, but he was too passionate to me, and I got tired after 2 months. We haven't slept together.
I knew he was still in love with me, and we were still good friends, now for 2 years.
Now, I'm 27 and he's 37. I've quite settled down, and want to get married and start a familly. This ex has been supporting me for everything, and although we are in distance (UK and US) we started a long distance again, and he was crying with happiness. He said he never stopped loving, caring for me, and I know that for sure.
Now, would it be acceptable for me, as a girl, to say to him that I'm quite ready to settle down, and start a familly? We have known each other for more than 2 years, but started dating again last month as a long distance. He says to come to US, but if I agree, I want to be engaged.
Could I ask for an advice how I can mention? Mail would be fine?

This girl i'm friends with texted me to see how my vacation was going a couple of days ago, and I replied back saying that it was awesome, and that we should hang out when I get back, and she replied yeah we should. Then I texted her this morning to let her know that I was coming back tonight and was wondering if she wanted to hang out tommorrow. But she hasn't replied back yet, and sometimes she waits until the next day to reply back. She can't be busy all day, so why does she wait until the next day to reply back? Sometimes she dosen't reply back at all? I think she likes me as a friend, but I don't know. I have known her for a couple of months and we have had fun when we do hang out, Should I just continue to play hard to get and maybe she will call me again?

thanks

How do you know when you are in love? Do you talk a lot about them, cant wait to see them again, dream about them, etc? Give some things that happen when you are in love with someone. PLEASE! And also is a 15 year age gap to much? Keep in mind, im 25. So, im an adult and i can handle an adult relationship.

He's a doctor and he is so sweet and so nice. He has two daughters (ages 13 and 15) who live in Dallas, TX and he goes down there every monday to watch them play basketball. He volunteered to tell me all this information on his own. What does that mean?

And also, every time i go to see him, he always smiles (and omg he's gorgeous) when he talks to me and we always talk about our kids and our life in general. When i go to leave he always touches my leg or takes his hand and rubs my shoulder some or grabs my hand amd squeezes as he is walking out. Oh and when he listens to me breath, he always takes his hand and moves my hair. Its barely past my shoulders. He's 40.

why do guys get mad when a girl asks a friend to tell him she likes him or wants to go out with him? i have read a couple of other peoples questions about this happening, and i went through the same thing. i like a guy at work but was too shy to tell him and got nervous when i talked to him, couldnt think of what to say. so i had a couple friends tell him, thinking maybe he'd start talking to me and i could ask him if he wanted to go out sometime. but he didnt like that and apparently a couple other people had the same thing happen. why is it so bad to have a friend talk to a guy for you? i dont see what the big deal is. people say that its immature but why? im 29 and i just thought it would help break the ice, so that he'd already know i liked him and then i wouldnt have to try to tell him myself and stumble over my words with a bright red face and a bunch of "um, um, uh, i...uh"?? so why do you guys not like a friend letting you know for a girl???

cat's collar last night since I've always wanted to marry him instead, and had a mock ceremony. I fell asleep before I took it off. It was gone this morning. I looked all over the house for it, and I can't find it!

What should I tell my husband? Or should I wait to see if it turns up?

My partner and i have to live apart due to me needing to live closer to work and her and the kids needing to remain close to school. My partner has been through a hell of a lot, and lost a lot of the security she had been used to. Now she is throwing herself into more than one work venture to rebuild her security for the family, which i support and understand. But she is pushing me away. Our love for each other is as strong as it has ever been but she does not feel able to embrace this love and her work commitments together.
My dilemma is that knowing we both have this strong love for each other, am i destined to just wait as long as it takes before we can basically be in each others arms again?
( i don't really expect advice on this as more detail would be required, but any opinions would be appreciated.)

My ex-boyfriend is much younger than I am. We had a wonderful, close sincere love, but something terrible happened to it when we did not really realize that we were both serious about each other. Since, we have both been making various attempts at getting back together, but the distance has been too great and the hurt too profound. After talking again for the first time in a year, many of the old feelings came back, but also, on my end, the insecuirty of not speaking for a year, and on his, a tendancy to overrationalize and not really be open. Because of my maturity, I feel that I have had to really take on more, sometimes, than I am comfortable with, but this last argument has allowed me to come to terms with losing him, which in turn has allowed me to really forgive him for the first time.

I do not know if it is a good idea for me to reach out to him again, but in my heart, I no longer feel anger for him. He can be self-cenetered, but also, he can be very giving. What do you think?

I only found out through the grapevine. Initially said she didn't tell me because she felt it wasn't important. Then said she didn't want to hurt my feelings because she knew I had feelings for her. She seemed to tell me everything else that was going on. Why do you think she did this and can I ever fully trust her again?
