I don't think that moms forget birthdays at all, even if they don't say Happy-B. or make something for that occasion.
U know every time they look at us, they are deep inside wishing us a Happy-B because we are from them and they held us months to give us THAT birthday.
In fact we should make them remember that moment, to thank them for bringing us to the world.

If her plate is piled high right now with stress, worry etc, then it can happen.
If she has always been forgetful and has missed special occasions before then you know it is her way.
Either way, you should forget it and move on.
As a mother the birth of their children is the highlight of their lives.
If it was an accident and she has apologized without you reminding her she missed it,she should be forgiven, hugged kissed, that's okay Mom. I love you and let it go.
If she is a habitual forgetter then you know that you can't change her behaviour and you have to let that go too.

You do not say how old that you are or Mom's age.....In today's world with so many things on our mind we do sometimes forget very important things...I am sure that she is also very upset that she forgot....Give her the edge and don't let this come between you...life is very short and we don't need to hold grudges.....Happy Birthday from another Mom....

Your Mom may have forgotten- but, to remind her right
now will really hurt her more than it is hurting you.
We all forget things (even b-days) at one time or another.
When she realizes it just tell her it's OK.
After all, she's your Mom and the pain she went thru to have
you is far more than you will ever know.
By the way Happy B-day.

Aww! It probably wasn't on purpose. She was probably very busy. She mighgt've not even completely forgotten....maybe she just forgot to plan something for you and thought it would be a better excuse just to pretend to have forgotten it alltogether.
Yeah. Seriously, just remind her and get on with life.

this would be difficult, and i'm sorry it happened.
does your mother have financial problems right now, or something that might be in the way and is distracting her?
if it really bothers you, talk with her, and ask her if there is something wrong?
happy belated birthday..

Try to put it behind you, she is your mom and will be around for a long time. I'm sure she must feel rotten.
