I only found out through the grapevine. Initially said she didn't tell me because she felt it wasn't important. Then said she didn't want to hurt my feelings because she knew I had feelings for her. She seemed to tell me everything else that was going on. Why do you think she did this and can I ever fully trust her again?

It's probably just like she said: "she didn't want to hurt my feelings because she knew I had feelings for her."
When a guy besides my boyfriend likes me....I guess I sort of get caught up in it. You know...I think about what it would be like if I was dating the other guy (even though I wouldn't). I don't want to close the other guy completely off because I'm sort of selfish in a sense that I don't want to completely crush his feelings because....I liked being liked, I guess. Plus I never like being the heartbreaker o_o
That might be how this girl is feeling. She might be more honest if you just tell her you're over her.

Yeah, you can trust her. She does care about you, and while she should probably should have been a little more honest, I wouldn't get too worried about it.
It seems she likes you a friend, and she may have thought that the friendship may have ended if she had told you that she was seeing someone straight away.
You can walk away if you want, but I think now is the time to show how strong your friendship is by telling her it's okay.

I think you can trust her again , she just did not want to hurt you . Why would she want to hurt someone she truly cares about ? She has a good heart and didn't mean any harm by her actions . Good Luck and step in her shoes for a minute .

Idk, maybe she just thought you might get jealous or something or maybe she was just afraid to tell you because she thought that you wouldn't want to be friends with her anymore. It will be hard to trust her again. If she really wants you 2 to still be friends she will try to earn her trust back most likely. If she doesn't, then maybe you should just move on :( I know it'll be hard but it's life.

You need to grow up, she just told you why she didn't tell you. She knows you have feeling for her, she didn't want you to get your feelings hurt.

well you said it your self she didn't wanna hurt you cause she knew that you have feelingsfor her, of which you should have told her that you are in love with her if that the case.
...so just be there for her as a Friend................remember it was your choice!
