How do you know when you are in love? Do you talk a lot about them, cant wait to see them again, dream about them, etc? Give some things that happen when you are in love with someone. PLEASE! And also is a 15 year age gap to much? Keep in mind, im 25. So, im an adult and i can handle an adult relationship.
He's a doctor and he is so sweet and so nice. He has two daughters (ages 13 and 15) who live in Dallas, TX and he goes down there every monday to watch them play basketball. He volunteered to tell me all this information on his own. What does that mean?
And also, every time i go to see him, he always smiles (and omg he's gorgeous) when he talks to me and we always talk about our kids and our life in general. When i go to leave he always touches my leg or takes his hand and rubs my shoulder some or grabs my hand amd squeezes as he is walking out. Oh and when he listens to me breath, he always takes his hand and moves my hair. Its barely past my shoulders. He's 40.

Yes sweetie, you are in love- and from what you say he does, he probably is in love too. So you have kids too right? He told you about his kids because he wants it to be clear from the beginning, in otherwords, being honest with you so you dont find out later- he is giving you a chance to continue to get out because he has kids. What about their mother? Are they divorced?
I am 26, and I think age shouldnt be a problem as long as you two can communicate and find a couple things in common. You need to find those things that you two have in common, if you can talk for more than 30mins and not run out of stuff to talk about- thats GOOD!
Otherwise, age shouldnt be an issue, it would if you were 17, but you are a young woman, free to fall in love with whoever your heart leads you to. Beleive me, I have been in your shoes, I fell MADLY in love with a man old enough to be my Dad...for over 6yrs I loved him, he made me feel good and wanted...you know- I had to break it off and force myself to stop because a future together was impossible....so I let go...
If you love him, go for him- 40 is not so bad. Good luck!

I'm probably gonna get best answer for this, chicadees. But it's best not to take advice from a kid. Sweeie... if there's a man out there... who you find truly attractive,
who you think about, let's say, most of the time, who represents even
part of what you think makes the world worth fighting for and who
doesn't view you as an entirely sexless shoulder to lean on...you
have to do something about it. But then again, what do I know?

Good question... I wonder now and then.
Here's my best answer: Do you like how you are when you think about this person, or when you are in the physical presence of this person? The object of your love, should bring out the best in you. I notice, when I am in love and/or extremely happy, I do things better than I usually do. I am at my best no matter what I'm doing...at work, at home, in social situations, all because there is someone who brings out the best in me, that know one else can seem to do.
Don't base it on the obvious...the physical attraction, or sexual desires. Those can be signs of infatuation, lust or desiring something that is missing in your life.
That's just what I think...

When your in love the world flies beneath you. Each minute becomes days long and you cant wait to see him again. You cant eat or sleep without thinking of him. It feels so good and yet it pricks like a thorn. Age does not make a difference in love. Love is the greatest thing you'll feel and yet it's painful.... but painfully wonderful. His face always comes in front of you and you feel as if your in heaven. *sighs* its WONDERFUL!

When you're in love - as opposed to being infatuated - you want to discover all you can about the person rather than just imagine what they are like, you want to really KNOW them rather than just assume you know them.
Being in love has a bona fide tip-off: you're definitely "in love" when you want that person to have a better than you do. You want to make them feel good, instead of concentrating on how they make YOU feel good. That's the difference between being "in love" and being infatuated. Infatuation concentrates on how the person makes YOU feel, love concentrates on how you make THEM feel.

If your knees go weak, and your stomach flips when you see him, and you dream about him, and you think about him every second of the day, and when you see him you feel like he is the only person you ever want to be with, you are in LOVE girl.
