Certainly why lie... if he isn't secure enough in himself that you are with him now then the realtionship wouldn't work anyway

yep, i always do. My last boyfriend got all funny about it though. I think he expected me to be basically a virgin - i'm in my late 20s for god's sake!
if he doesn't accept it or he has a big carry on about it, then he is obviously a misogynist and won't be able to handle you anyway.
The only reason i'd lie would be if it was with 20 or more guys. mostly though, if you say it doesn't matter, they think that it is a large number.
You shouldn't be ashamed of it, why can't we enjoy sex as much as men? Why should we be punished for it when they are revered for it? Seriously, tell him the truth and then show him some of the stuff you've learnt in the past!!

Lie like a rug!!!! I have a few friends who have been w more people then their husbands and the rat bastards all promised "its OK I just want to know" and then stayed bitter about it forever. It became regular fodder during arguments. He will never find out unless you tell him so keep it lower, dont go for like 2 or something but a reasonable number based on your age(hence time single).

Yep, I'd answer him.
He has the right to know. It's not a competition, it's a history check and both of you should have an AIDS test too.

I would tell him the truth. I would want to know his more for health reasons. So I would ask questions if they were all protected and what not. You need to have those conversations for both of you all sakes.

What the hell does a persons sexual past have to do with the here-and-now???? If he's hung up on it, then he is very sad!!! Tell him the truth and is he doesn't like it, then he doesn't love or respect you!!! :D

Exactly right. What matters is NOW. Not the past. You are moving forward with him, that's what counts now. Good answer.
