Family & Relationships - 14 March 2007

One of the deaths was a friend of mine from high school and there was only one survivor (also a friend of mine). They were/are both only 21 years old. He jumped out of the 3rd story window and landed on the sidewalk breaking his pelvic bone and probably has more broken bones and burns as well (i don't know for sure i haven't seen him yet)...all I know is that he is in critical condition.
The fire was started by a (supposedly insane) bum.
Anyways, my question is...
I want to write something on a memorial wall, but I'm having a hard time thinking of things. Everything I want to write I'm too scared to put because I don't want it to be taken the wrong way. Especially since I only knew one of the guys that died.
I'm so braindead. I am just in shock of what happened and all I can think of is "I can't believe that they are gone" and I don't want to write just that. But it's true, it's like unreal to me and I can't even think straight.
Any help would be appreciated. Oh & I'm not religious.

At the beg. of the year there was this guy that was in Marching band with me and he was in my class. So we talked and became friends, he asked me to homecoming. On the date he said things that made me feel rather uncomfortable, nothing really bad, I just didn't want to hear it. So after the date I kind of ignored him. I knew he liked me because he would stare at me during class, and practice. Then he came up and told me he liked me. Later he told me he really liked, and would do anything to get me to like him. Well that creeped me out and I really ignored him and didn't talk to him at all. He later wrote me a note telling me that he was "dying of a brokenheart" and other dramatic stuff. That was the last straw I had, had enough, and wrote him a note telling him I only liked him as a friend and that I didn't appreciate notes like that. He apologized, now it is wierd between us and he stares at me in class. Should I try talk to him or just leave it the way it was?

Me and my partner want to have a baby, she is divorced, but the father of her 2 other kids, says that he does not want his kids around me, if I am pregnant, because I will be a bad influence for the kids. Because I am not married.
I love her kids maddly, and he is just getting excuses because he just doesn't like, besides in the divorce she won the custody.
Should it be a problem, please let me know what you think.

Alright my friend is being so stupid lately and I want to know if I should move on and not talk to her any more

-she blows off plans that we make to hang out together to be with her boyfriend

-she doesn’t even call me to tell me that she “can’t make it” she’ll just have me wait for her and then I end up finding out on my own

-she doesn’t return any of my calls

-when I do call and she answers she’ll cut me off when I’m talking and say that she has to go because some one is on the other line

And just so many more things that she does that freaking annoy me. and the thing is she never used to be like this it’s just ever since she got a boyfriend it’s like our friendship doesn’t matter and she like makes her boyfriend her whole life. She’s been doing this for so long now it’s ridiculous and I’m really sick of it. I don’t even know why I’m still her friend, I don’t know I feel like if I let her go I won’t have anyone else to call or hang out with because me and her used to be

My wife of 11 yrs has agreed to try again after a nasty separation of almost a month. We have two children. The problem started when she met someone on yahoo answers that really "ignited her fire". She dropped the bombshell on valentines day 07 that our marriage was over due to this freak in miami who obviously likes wrecking peoples marriage, he persued and expressed his undying love for her knowing her to be married, "Cheers Shaun the firefighter". Anyway she says she is willing to try again but is still spending time on the internet, and recieving emails from a male friend upto 11 oclock at night.
Is she just having a laugh or is she going to stray off down the same route?
If the Internet had nearly wrecked my marriage, I would certainly be willing to cut this out to make a go of things. Should she, Is she genuinely trying?

I'm this guy who has had problems with my second wife of 10 years.I have a daughter from my first marriage that she doesn't want me to see because she tries to monopolize my time because I work alot of hours, especially on weekends,when I'm away from work.I met a woman online from another country and I'm online with her most everyday .We talk at least 3 times a week.She has visited me regularly in this country.I have fallen in love with her and now she is moving here to be near me.She is 14 years younger than I am,is much more exciting,is way more attractive and ,and I feel as though it's time to get away from my situation at home.My girlfriend is single, has no children and doesn't want any,so it works for me! Women from other countries are more loyal,less bossy,and will generally take care of their men more than most American women will do.That is my gut feeling.........

I just asked the question about my husband possibly cheating-I have asked him-he says he is not doing anything, and I am being paranoid. The affair he had before was while he was in Iraq-and it was emotional and he says was never physical-I know he is working out of town-talked to his co-workers-but I wonder if he is volunteering to go-I have told him to have enough repect for me to tell me if he wants out, so I can move on-and he says he doesn't want me to leave-that he loves me-but he can't seem to give me any reasons why he loves me. Things were incredible with us until he went to Iraq-he has been home now for 15 months-we have a 10 week old daughter-he never seems to want to spend time with either of us. He has been on the computer alot,he says it is because he has more responsiblities from the military now. I feel like I can't leave without knowing for sure, I can't stay always being suspicious-he has never been alone-so I don;t think he will leave, he will try to get me to.

My ex and I broke up 6 months ago. We have a small child together. At first I could not get over him. The 3 first months seem to hurt the most especially when he told me he was seeing someone for me to move on. I told him I was pregnant. He said he could not be with us he needed to explore.
