well i am attracted to a white fellow, however, i am a black female in the south and i know that the relationship wouldn't work especially since i attend a whiteflight private school where mixed couples are never able to develop. i was wondering, anyway, if white guys actually liked black females because, unlike white females liking black males, it just seems odd for them to step out and ask a black female out. so should i expect this guy to step up to the plate or what?

It's not as common. But it happens. Unfortunately for you, the media has established the young, thin, white blonde as the model for what a woman should be. So of course black men are attracted to white women. But not as many black women are portrayed as beautiful, so it doesn't occur to white guys as much.

Honey, I don't think that some silly 'common' rule should stop anyone from living the life they want to live with who ever they want to be with.

Now, as for your actual question, Yes. White guys like black girls and can date them too. Go ahead and don't waste your time thinking of how society perceives mixed couples.

I'm white and actually dated a couple of black chicks before. I am a big guy too 6'2" 225 so no one ever gave us a dirty look or stupid comment. This was back in high school. Now I'm engaged to a hispanic chick.

I think the problem may not be so much as whether or not he will ask you out or not. I think the question becomes if he asks you out are you ready for the discrimination that you may encounter if you are dating.
Heck, the stares from those who are not ready to accept change can be disheartening; the comments unbearable and the social impact could mess with your head.
Some folks ain't ready for change and unfortunately, they may make rude comments.
To answer the question, he may ask you out and then again, he may not. Be prepared for either.

And yeah, do no longer pay attention to Krista because of the fact she is ignorant. some human beings shouldn't additionally be allowed to place they are ignorant uninsightful 2 cents in on the cyber web, yet to be honest;that's her opinion. Plus, she will't spell. Why might you opt for to take suggestion from somebody who can no longer spell while they try to sound clever?
