I receive short term disability pay. I don't want to go back to work yet until he's 6 months. I have an option of FMLA for 12 weeks, but if im not mistaken, its unpaid. My boyfriend can't support the both of us now since he recently lost his job and is now working temp for 5 weeks until he find something permanent. How can I stay home with my son with the FMLA and still have a source of income? Looking for opinons.

After loosing my house and land, me and my 11 year old daughter moved in with my boyfriend. Things were going great till about a month ago. He is a retired marine. He is very quite and doesn't like anyone to know his business. He has some lady friends that call. Most of them were in the marines with him or know him from there. 3 weeks ago a lady from our area called and left a message on the phone. She said she was just calling to chat. When I asked him about her he wanted to know why I asked and I said she left you a message on the phone. He didn't answer my question of who she was. Of course I snuck the phone number and went on line and got an address, and she lives not far from us. He also has her cell number in his wallet. I havn't said anything else to him since I asked who she was. He even added up how much I have cost him since I moved in. He has for the last 3 weeks - acted like he is mad and wont talk and doesn't tell me bye when he leaves or tell me he loves me. Any advice?

I am now 30, and my great uncle has been an absolute blessing to me up until this point. He is getting older, however, and is lacking spirit. Unfortunately, I am living over 1,000 miles away and cannot be by his side to cheer him up. I just had a new son recently and family life is taking up a good deal of my time. I am planning on purchasing a plane ticket for him to come from PA to FL to visit for his Bday. What could I plan that would be very meaningful to him and perhaps re-ignite the fire inside of him that once burned so strongly. He always used to say "Ahh, it's a great life"...now what i usually hear after we discuss past events is "Them days are gone" or "Yea, those were the days" spoken in as if defeated especially when i speak of things we did together. Please help calm my restless spirit that is torn between being by his side to the end and raising my family here in FL. Thank you and God Bless!

Be honest or there's really no point in me asking this (and it is annonymous of course).

Are you predjudiced against fat people? Would you consider going out with a really big girl/guy if you really liked them but they were big? Or would you consider dumping someone if they put on a huge amount of weight? Do you think they'd still be attractive to you?

OR are you on the other side of this as the larger person? I'd like your point of view too.

I'm asking because I was watching a programme about people who's partners had left them after long relationships because they didn't like their weight gain. The point of the show was to point out how shallow these people were as the person they met and liked was still there no matter how big they are. I THINK IT ULTIMATELY SHOULDN'T MATTER, but, I have to say that if my husband put on loads of weight I wonder if I would feel the same because being physically attracted to someone is an important part of a successful relationship.

Ok....we got engaged 2 years ago and last year he bought a set but it said absolutely nothing about me as a person....it was flashy and just the complete opposite of what I would wear.....plus he takes care of his mother because she is sick instead of being there for me and his son....when it comes up about buying our rings he always wants to do it himself....but I want to do it together I think it should be something we do together that we both like...I think there are some co-dependency issues between him and his mom...but I had had enough when she was helping him pick our set.....So what does everyone else think should I give in or am I right that she has no business involved in the decision??

I have just been trying to figure out a guy's actions. Not long after I met him nine months ago he started acting differently towards me like turning red in the face, watching me a lot, trying to talk to me more (kind of shyed away from him), i thought he was my secret pal for a while. Well everyone.. Im 34, living at home with my mom, no job, but I do have a car ;)

Well I met this girl off of an online dating site.. let's just say we hit it off. My mom approves of her and gives me the OK to date her if I want. I LOVE my mom and couldn't do this without her support.

Well after a few messages, I fell in love with her instantly. I never met her though yet, as she lives 12 hours away. She wants to be "engaged" someday... well I can't afford a ring right now but I DID put a huge tattoo of her name across my back. Do you think she will use the tattoo on my back as an engagement, instead of a ring?

After a few simple messages.. I instantly knew. My mom LOVED her messages and I think she'll be a great girlfriend. Even though we haven't met.. I KNOW she is the one

I'm not asking you to read all of this it's WAY TO LONG i only want you to read ONE!!! I DON'T CARE WHICH ONE YOU PICK

So I’m a senior in high school going through a lot of stress right now. I feel like I’m really seeing my friends true colors shine and they aren’t shining to brightly to say the least. I have written 3 different situations that I am in right now!. ALL OF THEM VERY UPSETING! You can call me a drama queen if you want you can be rude about this whole thing or you can be polite about it I don’t really care I’m not asking you to read all four of them NOT BY ANY MEANS YOU DO NOT HAVE TO READ ALL 4!! That would take much to long but I beg of you to at least read ONE PLEASE and give me some sort-of advice on it! PLEASE! I really am upset. Im having a bit of a problem, i am an 18 yr old girl who is attracted to older men (usually 3-15 yrs older). Im currently seeing a 28 yr old, but am starting to rethink the relationship because of all the **** i have gotten from friends and family because of the age gap. i am attracted to older males both mentally and physically and have been my entire life, but now that im starting to get serious with them i have been encountering a lot of problems. why am i attracted to older men? is it healthy? and if it isnt, how can i change?
