Wait till you're divorce is final. I know it's hard and you want some companionship and/or just sex, but heal first (I know everyone has their own time in doing this). If you start dating, who knows the ex could possibly use it against you, even though the courts say they don't care, it may determine how you are viewed, morally.

I would wait the full year. When your divorce is in process, you can go out, you can casually date, but don't get into any serious relationship with someone until your divorce is final and you wait for about six months. The reason being is you will still be carrying around alot baggage and hurt and you need time to heal. Most psychologist will say the same thing. What happens is when someone goes into another relationship quickly after divorce, they tend to talk too much about their ex, bad mouth her, and it is a turn off to most women. Also you don't choose wisely and marry the wrong woman again.

Wait until after the divorce in finalized! Women do not want to be going out with men who are married. Too many guys say they are seperated or divorced but really aren't, and you don't want to be in that kind of situation with a woman.

I feel that if you have been separated 7 months, and you have filed for the divorce that there is nothing wrong with starting to date again. It can help you to move on.

It is cheating until the divorce is final and she can use you dating before the divorce is final against you in some states. I would wait.

Why have you not filed for divorce yet? I was once in your shoes but I started dating right after we split up and I am now engaged to the man:)

You ARE still married. Have some dignity and honor and wait until your divorce is finalized.
