Me and my partner want to have a baby, she is divorced, but the father of her 2 other kids, says that he does not want his kids around me, if I am pregnant, because I will be a bad influence for the kids. Because I am not married.
I love her kids maddly, and he is just getting excuses because he just doesn't like, besides in the divorce she won the custody.
Should it be a problem, please let me know what you think.

no court would uphold something that ridiculous, and if the father does try to deny your/her custody rights, he is very liable to lose his own... If he isn't bluffing, he's just stupid, don't even worry, either way it will work in your favour!
Good luck!

Your wife's ex is crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let him try to take your partner back to court for custody and they'll tell him he's crazy too. Try not to worry about him, I'm sure he's probably jealous more than anything and scared that he won't have a strong tie with his kids anymore...you threaten him as a father figure. Don't worry and good luck with having a child of your own - if you love someone else's kids that much you will not believe how much you will love your very own!!

That whole thing was too confusing.

Are you trying to say that if you and your girl have a baby together, then her EX will keep her other kids away from her?

Frankly I don't see how he has a say in it, but I now the American courts might see things differently. My standard adive is, don't let an EX govern your current relationship.

Sorry I could not be more help.

You go ahead and have a baby! Don't let her ex make you think you can't. Do you know how many people aren't married when they have children? I wasn't even married! Don't pay attention to what he says, keep loving her kids and have a baby between you two! Best of luck!

Why aren't you married? Is this a lesbian relationship? If so, I would not get pregnant. If you do I would hope you partner's ex take the case back to court. There is a very obvious reason same sex couples should not have children. It isn't natural.

It doesn't sound like a healthy environment to bring a child into. I think a baby deserves a much better start than this.

Someone sounds a bit jealous to me! Tell him to get over it and move on. Good luck. x

It shouldnt be a problem. He is going to have to learn how to deal with his emotions while his ex moves on with her life.

He is not in a position to dictate terms, ignore him and live your own lives, he sounds like a bully..
