It's your life, you can marry whomever you want.

I think you are pointlessly limiting yourself though, especially if you want to have children.

A woman earning over 100k/yr is unlikely to be willing to take the career hit involved with the time off for pregnancy.

Additionally, if you marry a woman with a low income, it will reduce your tax burden.

It seems money is so important to you. But just in case you get a divorce, you may have to split the marital properties 50/50. You might lose more money. Why not marry someone who is richer than you to make you feel better?

Whatever rocks your boat. Personally though, I've never seen a Brinks truck following a herse, just a big limo with a broken down widow who'd give anything to have just one more day with her spouse. So really in the end, does it matter??

I wouldn't go that route dude. Women who make more than 50K a year tend to be those "THIS IS 50 50 around here" "GIRL POWER" "I don't care if your the man, I don't have to listen to you" This is the kind of garbage that would come out of those kind of women's mouths. Personally I don't like that kind of sh-- . I don't mind if my chick makes good money but she better not try to act like another man in the house.

You both could live on your income alone...comfortably. You could marry a woman who makes $0 a year and be just fine.

why not, she could work until she wants and decide later on to quit for a while and be a full time mom if you both think about having baby later on. Don't complicate your life, think the present and things will mold together with out complications. ciao

Absolutely, if you love her. The amount of money you make or she makes shouldnt make a bit of difference. Marry her for love and make sure she's doing the same.

It's ok for you to marry someone who makes you happy, who you have things in common with, whom you love. It is NOT ok to marry someone based on how much money they make.

It's OK - but you will be missing out on a LOT of good women by putting a price tag on a relationship.
