Here's the problem... I'm 5'6" tall. Compared to most other men, I have average looks and an average build, I'm just much shorter. I've been told a million times that a good personality and confidence are what matter the most in attracting women. I always try to let both of these things shine; especially when talking to a women to whom I'm attracted. Yet, I always seem to get shot down with the dreaded "I like you as a friend"... There seem to be a lot of taller guys who are real p***s, that have amazing girlfriends. Even looking at online dating profiles women seem to perfer men who are atleast 5'9" or taller... Does height really matter that much or do I have some personality flaw that I don't realize?

Im a preteen, and in jr. high, is it alright to show some PDA? my bf is startin 2, and other question:
we were at my house with another friend of mine, and we just started dating, and i used 2 go out w/ him, but everything was fine, and he wasnt all weird, but my friend said he like, stared at me the whole time, even if i was in his arms and it sorta felt awkward... what should i do, i just wanna take it slow..

I have been married to my husband for 4 years and my mother-in-law still invites my husbands ex-wife to holidays and family gatherings.She knows this bothers me but she doesn't care.She even invited her to the hospital when I was having our baby.
She's always so nice to her but she talks crap about me and my sister-in-law all the time we don't know what we have ever done to her to make her treat us this way.She even takes the ex's side when it comes to my husband and that's her son.I just don't understand it.I told my husband that I didn't want to be around her anymore but I don't know if that's the right thing to do because I don't know if it is fair to my kids.

I am getting married Monday 5,2007.We could not afford a wedding,so we are going to the courthouse.My 12 year old daughter will be holding a flower girl basket.My 10 year old son has a ring berriers pillow.We have a friend to take pictures and one to run the camcorder. My brother and his wife will be there and so will my 18 year old daughter and her friend.We sent invitations to our friends and the rest of our families.We invited them to our house for wedding cake and punch.We are on a "beggers" budget.Do we need to add anything to the menu,or is cake and punch enough?

I need help with my husband. I am a young stay at home mother of two, go to school onlinel go to the gym,and do all the cooking in the house.And all I am asking for is for my husband to spend more
time with me. I have confronted him many times about this and he just doesn't get it. All he really cares about is going to work and working on cars. I am so sick of it. Most of the time I am home on my own with the kids. I believe I have a lot on my plate. I would love to be more intimate with him. How does he expect me to have a high self esteem if he doesn't make me feel wanted. I am 5'2" and 125 lbs. Does anyone thing there is something wrong with me..I feel like all I do is nag.
I don't know what to do anymore??????

We are staying in a suite/studio type of hotel while we are waiting for our house to be finished. We are staying near Disneyland , and a few of the crew members for a show on Disney channel were here staying, well I got aquainted with a few of them in the lobby and they all wanted me to go to the House of Blues and of course invite my hubby as well...well the people that invited me were 2 women close to my age~ one of them that i introduced my hubby too was really a nice lady, however...my hubby kept on and on about how hott she was and how he wanted to take her out ,i did ignore this because he was getting drunk and i guess it was the tipsy in him that made him grope her . i remained silent and even the girl got all uncomfortable and weirded out toward his advances. i assured her that i was not upset w/her since she remained a ladylike lady and was polite and tried to walk away from him, but he kept pursueing her and i felt embarrassed because 1 of the ladys there told him off.

gym: we play eachother in badmitton all the time, but one thing ive noticed...he is usually the most dominating player, but when he plays me he tends to mess up and get really frustrated and embarassed...and me on the other hand, i fall like all the time and practically sprain my ankle

english: he sits really close to me but across the room at the same t ime, im ebarassed to talk to him in that class becuase he has tons of friends there.

civics: he sits very far away but we make eye contact allll the tiime

and when i see him in the halls he is usually with friends but if he spots me out, his look will linger, but then vanish the second i turn my head

i really am not shy with guys, except for him, words just cannot form! how can i talk to him casually, and are these signs that he may like me or at least seem interested?

im going away for 3 days to a concert and my bf really wants to come along but one of my friends said no with the reason he doesnt like my bf (he never met or spoke to my bf) but he bringing his gf who i hate .
