here's the situation, i told this girl i like her indirectly via email, and she dont talk to me anymore. She used to talk to me, but now she doesn'tt. I dont really know anything and i'm so scared of talking to her. I dont really know if girls ignore guys who just confessed to them.

More, especially if she wants you to be open with her, in which case she needs to be open with you. But if you're scared to talk to her, for a resaons other than the fact that she's really a stranger from some where else, then how can you like her?
I think, you should forget about her and move on to someone else.

just like guys, it depends. Sometimes I guy will show he likes you by suddenly avoiding you everywhere he goes because hes embarassed and other times the same guy will not leave her alone. Sometimes it depends on how close they are in the first place to the person they like, and sometimes it depends on how shy or not that they are....or fear of rejection. If this is sudden, good chance is that she likes you. I know it seems scary right now, but just talk to her. ABOUT THIS AND EACH OTHERS FEELINGS....ooo it must be spooky for you, a guy to talk about feelings, well, some girls like me, love it!

Partner, you will have to understand women first. And I'm here to tell you no one does! lol Girls are like that, and you will never know until you try again. So gopher it! Ask again, tell her again. If she tells you to kiss off, then you know where you stand. If she gets friendlier then you know where you stand. Better to find out early in the game, that sit in a puddle of tears. Just move on!

Sounds like her feelings aren't mutual, maybe try and make a joke out of it to get your friendship back on track... It does sound to me like she is awkward about this whole situation...though she could just be painfully shy, is she a shy/quiet person?

try asking her the answer to something in history for example or another subject if you actually have a question. if she answers and doesn't seem mad then it's ok
if she answers in a rude way, like "don't bother me" then it's bad
if she ignores you, then you might as well go away
but maybe she's just shy so talk to her

Well, most likely it means she's not interested.
Move on.
Tell her by e-mail you're sorry and happy to be just friends. Then leave the ball in her court.
Chase after other girls romanatically instead.

well there's two posibilities
one: she didnt believe you and thinks you didnt mean it
so now shes scared and waiting for you to talk in r/l where
she can know for sure
or two: she doesent like you
personally if i heard something like that i would not
talk to the guy especially if i did like him because id be
too scared and want him to do something..
so yeah DO SOMETHING :)

i think she's a little shy..i'd also be shy and especially if she hasn't had much experience.. she's probly worried on what to do next. i'd just ask her wats going on? through e-mail would be good too.
