My best friend's been with her man for roughly 4 years and although they've had their rough patches, they always pull through and stick together - which I admire. They live together, but have no desire to get married anytime soon.

My problem with her is that she's so spoilt and ungrateful about the things he does for her. Ok, he's not perfect (could pull his weight a bit at home and cook the odd meal), but he always gets her great bday / xmas gifts, takes her out for meals, they've been to mexico, portugal, egypt and italy together - not to mention countlesss wkend trips away. And all she can do is find something to whinge and complain about! My love life is and has always been s**t and I've never been taken anywhere by any of my exes barring the odd chinese meal or drinks at a bar.

I'm currently single (again) and resent the way she doesn't appreciate anything he does. I'd kill to have a man who treats me that way, but all she can do is find fault with things.

Hi, we raised a child for 7 years that was a foster child in the state of Illinois. We moved and was not allowed to take her out of the state. It has been 20 years now with no contact and would like to make contact with her to tell her of happenings and share lives with each other. Does anyone know how I could find her since she was in Illinois foster care? Thank you ahead of time. I have searched her name on the net and cant find anything.

My ex broke up with me 1 mth ago after 8 mths. I do love her and she told me she loved me.

She broke up with me because she said her feelings "had changed over a short period of time". This period coincided with her suffering from depression. About 1 week before we broke up (when she mentioned she might want to end things with me) she
admitted she was depressed. I persuaded her to go to her dr. She did and he gave her meds and sent her for counselling.

1 wk later she said she wasn't depressed and didn't need counselling and it was our relationshoip that was getting her down. Despite my best efforts to persuade her she should focus on the depression she wouldn't and ended things.

I know that I want to try and be with her (as long as she eventually acknowledges the depression and tries to sort it) but am not sure how to go about it. I have avoided contacting her for nearly 4 wks to give her space. I plan to contact her in the next few days to suggest a meet up.

What to do?
