My husband is black... and I'm Biracial our children are a minority as well as I and my husband. They would be very beautiful children of both worlds

It relies upon on what genes get exceeded all the way down to the youngster. i have heard of two 50/50 dad and mom having twins, one being white and one being blended. the youngster ought to come out with all white genes or all black, or would properly be blend like the dad and mom. that is extra likely that the youngster will be blended like the dad and mom because the darker genes are dominant, even though it ought to extremely bypass any way.

Your children would be considered bi-racial whether their features are more "black" or more "white". I wouldn't be so quick to put a "label" on them. Raise them as members of the human race, not a color.
Good luck!

mulatto

EDIT: Are people so dumb that they don't know that mulatto is the proper term for someone who is 50% white and black? Biracial is just a generic term for any mixed races.

Fortunate! They have at least two heritages to look to when they're deciding who they'll grow up to be!

On any form requesting race, you can always check "do not wish to answer", until they're ready to choose - or not.

P.S. No one uses the term "mulatto" any more; that's a "Jim Crow" term.

Unfortunately society demands we label everything so technically they are Bi-racial. Hopefully they will be taught about both of their cultures so they can embrace both. After all, we are all humans and most of us are a mixture of many cultures. Especially Americans.
