This is too broad of a question. What do you mean by relationship and what do you mean by committed?

A relationship starts from the moment you meet someone, you have all sorts of relationships with all sorts of people.

As for being committed...committed as in committed to just that person?

I guess the answer to your question is yes, no matter what you really mean here. You obviously have to have some sort of relationship with the person to be committed to accomplishing something with them, unless you are like an obsessed stalker.

i think it is depends. if you dont want to commit but your partner wants to commit then you have to be fair to them because you will hurt their feeling. if both of you are fine without commitment and just want to have fun then i think you dont need to be.
just to be fair coz end of the day, you will be in trouble too!
