This young woman had the nerve to tell me that men who are overly affectionate, too nice, or wants you to have their baby are trying to trap them. I think some women overlook things and tend to miss out on a good man. What do you think?

I'm 34 and I've been divorced for almost 7 years. Since then I've had one very short relationship and I haven't even been on a date in over 3 years.

About 18 months ago I moved to a new town for work. I didn't know anyone here to start with. Unfortunately it's a smallish community and there is very little in the way of a public social scene and virtually no night life. Plus everyone knows everyone and it's hard for an outsider to make friends (I've heard this from others too). I know there are (presumably) single women my age because I see them at work, but I never see the outside of work.

I manage a movie theatre and all my employees are teenagers so it's not really a possibility to meet people through them - although I'm nearly the same age as some of their parents. I also don't think it's right to hit on customers.

I'm not really comfortable just approaching strangers. What can I do to develop some dating prospects?

Lol...I don't really understand why guys/gals call their lovers baby...or how it came to be..when baby is actually a newborn kid..so are they trying to insult their lover by associating them with a newborn child who doesnt knwo a thing?lol...just curious...some interesting answers..plz!

Sometimes when we are in a relationship, either friendship or love, some people still have this thing inside of them that they just keep it for themselves. Why? Maybe because they are embarrass to say it, or to scared to tell it to that somebody because you may upset them or make them mad.

So tell me, What are the things that make you upset and you can't let it out for some reason.

ok, so its my guy...i don't even know where will i start. So, he always tell me that he loves me and said that im his only one, but, I found out (in his website account) that he still loves his ex-girls...and i also found out that what he told me, he also said to his ex-girl...and not only that, i also find out that he was courting another babe!! I wanted to break up with him, but we are partners in this big play that will be shown in a month, and im sure that he will be affected with this and its kind of ackward because in the play he is the prince and im the princess!! i dont want the play to be ruined!!!...help me!! its so complicated..and whats worst, im starting to fall for him!!!!!!!!

i think my husband is weird. we have been married for 9 years now and he has no friends. he is a architect and he doesnt hang out with anyone. he did have a friend but i found out he and the friend were cheating on us at least a neihor told me so that ended the friendship. now he doesnt have any friends and no one comes over to our house only my friends. my friends have kids and i dont but i get along with their kids. he just is a loner and we lilve in a big house like this. i feel empty. his excuse for not having friends over is because he says that they are professionals and i am not but my friends are all nurses and i am in school for nursing. do you think he is makeing up excuses. also i am hypoglycemic and when my sugar drops and i freak out and cry he tells me that i am a wacko and that he is sick of being my servent but i am always having this problem

the situation:
the girl has an ex and she broke up with him because she is so wasted from him because the guy didn't cherish the girl's love for him? now i comforted her and told her that i love her and now were together but our problem is, she want to go back to him because the guy is begging for her but she's not sure if she will be happy to him if she give him a chance, but I told to her that i will give to her all of the things she want to have from his ex. I met a young lady on a matrimonial website & we hit it off very well. She had a prior relationship 3 years ago that she ended & admits to feeling guilty about as she sorta "strung the guy along" and did not verbalize her concerns regarding their relationship that she felt wasn't everything she wanted. This young lady suggested to me that we need to meet in the early stages to assess if we should move forward with the relationship. I agreed & visited her last week after a month & a half of communicating & we had a great time...very relaxed, fun & open. We kissed & to describe the intensity of the passion, our tongues were on fire. She later told me that she felt something was missing & she wasn't feeling something but still wanted to give it a try with me. She wanted things to "flow freely without defining anything". I understand that she is in final semester of grad school and has a lot going on in her life...I am just wondering what she is feeling and what I should do..

Hey, it is a new month and I have decided to let go fo the past..
one little problem..My ex and I broke up 5 months ago. We were
together 4 years, some good some bad. He has a substance problem that I thought i could change..yeah silly me. Anyway,
he did alot of calling during the break up...I respected the break up
and left him alone..During the last couple of weeks we actually
talked like friends..he was calling almost every night for 2 weeks.
I reached out, asked if he wanted to get together and talk...he
had hinted around he wanted to..well he ignored my msg i left..
but still called back never brining it up...i don't want to do this anymore..but i want to get the monkey off my back. I want to
forgive him, apologize for things I said and be free..Do i call
him and do this? How do i go about his..i want to be free of him
and be happy again..I can't let him hurt me anymore...

I have been with my boyfriend for 3 years and there is an ongoing problem. He does not communicate his feelings, he keeps them to himself and gets really snappy or annoyed with me for no reason. So if he's shitty about something he takes it out on me, not physically or anything more emotionally. This really frustrates me because my father used to do it to me, so its like im conditioned to it, I know I need to hold my ground but sometimes I forget and take it as my fault. so if I havent done anything wrong and he snaps at me for no reason I just take it because I assume I've have done something wrong but I really havent. Its soo frustrating I dont need this in my life. Apart from this hes really a great guy. I want this to stop, but in your opinion will it ever change?
