This young woman had the nerve to tell me that men who are overly affectionate, too nice, or wants you to have their baby are trying to trap them. I think some women overlook things and tend to miss out on a good man. What do you think?

Go easy on her, maybe she's just had some bad experiences....people who generalize (and I'm guilty of this too) usually do so because of their own personal experience. If you date 3 or 4 someones and they all want you to have a baby, but they don't want to work then you start to think all people are like this. Go a little slower with her, give her time to learn to trust you. If you really care for her, it will all work out.

Huh. That's funny. I thought it was men who thought that women were trying to trap them - not the other way around. What a curiosity this young woman is!
As for your second question - some women AND some men overlook things and miss out on good partners. That definitely goes both ways.

It depends on the woman. Some women don't want to be in a relationship with just one guy, and they feel trapped when they meet a guy that has that attitude towards relationships. Most guys are lying, cheating bastards that don't want to settle down. So yes, after dealing with so many jerks, many women become jaded, and do miss out on that 1 good guy who comes along. And if a woman isn't ready to have a kid, then yes, she will feel like you're trying to trap her with a baby-Just like guys that aren't ready for kids; If they meet a girl who wants to get pregnant by them, most get scared off because it's a huge, PERMANENT reponsibility!! It seems like you two were just not on the same page with what you both wanted...Either try talking with her about what she expects and wants, and try to go along with what she's saying, or go deal with a girl who is looking for a "good man"(since that is what you referred yourself to). I think, you're right. It sounds like this young woman has been burned by someone and is a bit bitter and cautious. Not all women think this way

womens get matured earlier than men and even they have 15% extra curosity for sex that's why they think so
