if you ask a guy whether he happens to have your number and he says that a mutual friend already gave it to him but he asks for it from you again does it mean that he's interested? or not?

i would have to say yes, he had asked a friend for your number, and now got some balls to ask you because thats more of the right thing to do. i would defentally think he likes you

It depends on the character of the guy. If he is genuine then, he really loves...or else he is just flirting around & nothn else ok GOOD LUCK tc bye...

First it means he's lying, and secondly it means tricking you into giving him your number.

By the way, I think someone's given me your number too. Just to make sure it really is your number, can you just confirm it , please?
