Sounds like he doesnt if he blows you off for your health concern. If anything you need to do some serious thinking since 9 years is a long time to consider the next step of your relationship. My ex boyfriend was a loner and expected me to stick by him at all times when his friends were either dead or in jail-he was a gang banger. If your husband cheated then he definetly doesnt respect you if he treats you like you don't matter. You deserve better than that.

What is your concern? You say your husband doesn't have friends but then that he deosn't bring his friends to your home. Which is it?

They you say he does have freind but you think he is embarrassed to bring them over because you are not a professional.

Living with someone who suffers with blood sugar level problems is difficult. Both me and my partner have this - we just tell each other to eat and then we'll discuss whatever we're upset about. But you also need to take responsibility for yourself with that and make sure you eat every 4 hours!

So decide what your problem is. Do you want your husband to have more freinds? Do you feel he is embarassed by you? Or is it something more - the emptyness - do you want kids?

Sweetheart, that sounds really sad. It also sounds like you're in an emotionally abusive relationship. You both need help if you want to be healthy. That, or get out while you still have time to help yourself.

Sorry, I don't know how else to see this.

Sounds like you two are heading for a divorce. You should seek professional counseling for these problems if you really want to stay together.
