It's not really my business, I guess, but my soon-to-be ex-husband is involved with a 19 year old woman. She is only 6 years older than our daughter. I'm appalled. I can't stand to think about it. I feel sorry for the young lady.

I personally don't agree with it either. I can't see any person in their 40s having anything in common with a 19 yo young man or young woman. Your ex must be very immature. You may also want to mention to your ex that when his young love interest was an infant, he was already 24 years old.

Well, obviously there would be many thoughts about it...and most of them not good. It is both of their lives though...and if that is what they want...then so be it. It probably won't work, most don't....and it is just a mid-life crisis thing. She will find that a man that much older is not what she wants...and he should find that a ditsy girl like her is not for him. Not that she is actually ditsy, but to a 43 year old man, she is, so don;t go off on me girls. I assume the marriage is ending because of this? Well, that is a shame, to have a marriage end for an adolescent fling like this.

That's horrible. And it's like a slap in the face to you, but you know what, apparently he can't deal with a real woman so he had to find a child that would put up with his crap. Don't even worry about it girl, he'll get what's coming to him sooner or later. And if she knew about you, then she'll get hers too. You'll find someone better when the time is right.

Age is just a number. I think that you're just finding it difficult to imagine him with someone else, especially a younger lady.
I personally don't find older men attractive but it's down to them at the end of the day.

It sounds about right to me.

Seriously, it sounds like the girl is in need of a father figure and the man is going through mid-life crisis. as she matures, she'll realize that this is unfulfilling to her and move on. Hopefully she is smart enough not to reproduce with him first.

He's having a midlife crisis. In public, he looks like an A$$! And the poor girl just does not have a clue....
I'm very sorry for you.

Don't! She's old enought to know what she's gettin' in to. But your suspicions, are right. She'll change, and leave him hangin' by his Jock Strap. While, you'll be out, having a respectable Life. Luck!
