ok so one of my "friends" asked me to a party and i went and it was fun at times but really drama filled at times like there is this one guy that kept calling me skinny and shy cuz i didn't talk a whole bunch...(even tho i don't even know him) what should i do? i always go to u guys for my ? cuz all u guys take it seroius so thanks for that!

I've always been the type of person that hates to be mean, I try to avoid confrontation with anyone because I want to be liked and not hated. I just need to stick up for myself more and stop being soo shy, one day, my ex best friend said something really mean about me and I didnt say anything back..does anyone have any tips on courage????

This really Ticks me off!

Why are there some Yahoo Messenger 'friends' that always ask me for $ $ $ Money on there ??

I guess I'm the only one in here,,,,, or am I. What do they think I'm made of ?

I was talking to a Y-Messenger friend 2 nights ago......
She told me She was 'Trapped in Africa.' Her Boyfriend and her flew to Africa a few weeks ago.
Now, she told me her Boyfriend 'ran off' and completely left her all alone and 'Stuck in Africa' and can not get back home to her hometown of New York.

She was like trying to pull my leg and she wanted me to at least help Pay for her Half-the-Cost of her Plane ticket back home from Africa to her home in New York.
She even wanted me to E-mail her Attourney to tell him to help her with the other half of the $$ Cost of the flight home for her.

I mean, what goes on in these friend's minds. I'll never know.
Sheesh !! I Don't have $$ 2,000 to get her home. She could be Lying and she's really in the USA.

Help!

all my life, i just cant show any emotions when i hear something negative. Like For Example, when my grandfather died a few years ago, I didnt even feel anything, i didn't cry at his funeral. Now my mom just told me, she has a brain tumor. Im just like "oh ok". People think im weird and I dont care about my mother, thats not it, its just i cant show any emotions. To me its like the saying "it is, what it is".

ok so yesterday i was kinda i guess flirting with this guy then we started playing basketball and he kept starin at my friend and checkin her out... when me her and him we playin. my other friend who didnt play at the end b4 we left asked him out for me he then said "which one wants to go out with me?"
and she told him me and described what i was wearing
then he said" oh uhh.. idk i have to think about it" but then somehow he asked for my # so i gave it too him then that night he called and asked me out then we had plans for today me him my friend and his friend. well it was the time we were supposed to meet and he wasnt there so i called him and he said he would b ther in 10 but then he called right back and said he couldnt come b/c he had to go to the mall wiht family.....does he really like me??? is he using me???? should i dump him????

So i went to this dance recently and a guy i just met was there, i convinced him to dance with me on one of the slow songs and he seemed excited when he found out that he was the only one i danced with. He then followed me all night taking pictures (because he is on the yearbook staff) he seemed flirty and everything, then i come to find at another function that he has a girlfriend and he didnt even mention her, i asked him about it later and he said that she lives in another state. I dont know if i should just give up on it, i havent told him that i like him. I just dont know what to do please help me.

a few months ago she cheated on me. in a very bad way. and i can't seem to forget it, or let it get out of my head. she keeps complaining that i keep bringing it up but i can't stop. i don't know how to deal with this. to add to the confusion she's pressuring me to move in with her and she is always saying how she wants to marry me, but i'm not ready for marriage or moving in together.

we have been together for two years.

He left and went to his cousin( its been a month) because we are not getting along. I asked him to come back as we have an 8 month old baby but he has not. He is paying rent for me but If he won't come back and be a family I want to move back west with my baby where I have family and a support network. I moved here to be with him last year-he has family here. But when we fight he tells them all about it and has turned them against me. I have no friends or support here and hate it here. I need to get out as smoothly as possible and can't tell him my plan because he might try and get a court order to keep me here. It's will be hard because I have an old car and pets.I am willing to let him visit his child if I leave or even reconcile if he is willing but I want to move!( iam her primary caregiver)I talked to a lawyer and she said I had custody being unmarried mom and I could move but to do so sooner than later because he could try and file to stop me saying he wants to fight forcustody

Just so you know, I am in college. But I have had trouble with women. the things that I say that I think should be taken as romantic only "creep" them out. Do girls really want to hear that you love them? Do they really want to hear love notes and poetry about them? Do they want to hear how you feel about them? Everything that I have been told is romantic to hear has only given me a lot of girls that are "creeped" out by me. Please help, before I ruin friendships/relationships/possible relationships with any more girls.

Last summer this one girl was kind of getting on my nerves for different reasons. We would still talk sometimes, though. My other friend said something like "Jackie doensn't like you." Which was true at the time.

After that, we said some pretty horrible things to eachother.
Then we apoligized to eachother months after. (well sort of.)
We haven't talked since December. I relised that I agree with her on a lot of things & it seems we have a lot in common. She's changed a lotttt.

She doesn't go to my school. But next year I might switch to the school that she's in. Should I wait til then to talk to her again?
