She was living in Scotland and I was living in England 400 miles away. Met on the internet and chatted on the phone for three months then she came on the train to meet me. 8 months later we got married and live together in Scotland. This was only last year so it does work.

I met my wife online, and a number of other lovers.
But this was in the early 1990s, with a lot of joint participation on various message boards before the relationship got to be in-the-flesh.

I did this once. Found out the 15 year old girl was a 47 year old man. He was logged off for about a week then i was contacted, telling me he has been arrested for trying to solicate me.
