why is it more and more girls having baby's by men they are not in love with and i just want to know how anyone can do that

Some women feel that if they have a child it will make them love the man they are with or that it will some how be the answer to there relationship woes. The thing is what happens is that when the child comes the man usually will split and do a runner or they will live unhappy till they kill each other. I don't know why women feel that by bringing a new life into this world it will fix there problems.
