way back college days,my friends and i went to a fortune teller.it wasnt a plan but we decided to go during our class break.i was the last one on the list.during my turn, the old lady check my palm,looking on it seriously.i guess it took her 5 min.to release my hand.then do some cards stuff.i was actually waiting for what she's goin to tell me.seems that she's reading the cards.she said that my dad really misses me that time(i wasnt w/ my dad before),that couples will help me travel abroad someday,and the last thing she said,i should be careful in choosing men.she actually told me that most of the guys im going to meet was already committed/married.i got to remember all the guys i met before wasnt single,but of course i dont know it,they wont say it either.some of them were married and others got gf's already.i just dont wanna believe in all of these!

I'm 28 and there's this 34 yr old man I've been seeing since September last year. This valentine he didn't make an effort to get me anything. He did not get me a present during christmas also which made me so upset - I excused him then coz he's originally muslim. I've asked him why and all he said is that gifts are material things not showing affection. In my past relationships I was always being bought for gifts which made me feel special. The worst part is that he can afford to buy these things as he's from a rich family and holds a high position at his work place.
Apart from this issue I appreciate how he has introduced me to his friends and family despite our totally different social backgrounds. He only pays bills and the like. Should I still be seeing such a person

I was with a guy for 3 years but i had a feeling from year 2 that we werent meant to be. we went out for the second half of our relationship via distance and i ended it when i realised he wasnt what i wanted. People say I am attractive and can get whatever guy I want but half of the men out there i am not attracted to. they all seem too interested in sex, their cars, drinking or basically themselves. I want someone different, exciting, who cares for others and who understands my wishes as i will understand theres. I can't seem to fall for anyone. Am i destined to be lonely and happy alone? Am I too picky? am I too shy and this is holding me back from falling for one of these guys who could be a good man to me? or is it just about listening to my gut instinct that these guys interested arent the ones and i should wait until i find the find and he will come along. what do you think? any advice on finding theright one?!!!

Ok, so I like this guy who is a little over 12 years older than me (I'm 22). We've been good friends for a while now, but for the past year I've liked him. We went out a couple of times, just the two of us to lunch and to dinners and stuff. We've also had many long conversations on the phone as well as in person (one went on for 4 hours... until about 4 a.m.) many of them talking about relationships and about some of our deepest secrets about our lives.The confusing thing is, we kinda stopped hanging out like we did, but he still shows the signs that he did before (smiling at me, making me laugh, standing close to one another, catching him looking at me, flirting back whenever I flirt.... things like that). I honestly think his friends have been saying negative things about me... which is another bump in the road for me. So now my question is...

Does this guy like me? And if so, what should I do about this situation? How do I go and make the next step without scaring him?

like i was saying, i left my contry to be w him...we ve been living together for 1 year and he says he dosent want to get married. i love him, i wanted to have a future and raise children with him. my visa expires in 4 months, i cant stay any longer than the expiration date, he knows the only way i could stay would be by getting married, but still, he says he is not ready to do so. i feel very hurt, left a good job back home to be w him and now this!
he says he loves me, but he is not ready for marriage. should a go back home? should i ask for a visa extension and give hhim more time? i dont know what to do!!!!!!!

So what would you do about this?? Me and my dad were VERY close when i was younger. But once he got remarried and had my baby brother, his new wife convinced him to get a DNA test and he stopped talking to me for 5 years over a mis-hap(sp) at a christmas party. Im now getting married in august and over the last couple years have went and seen them maybe 3 or 4 times. But they never make an attempt to see me or call me. Im so tired of being the one trying. And my dad met my fiance and likes him and all,...but i dont know if i should have my dad walk me down the aisle or not. I have no brothers or uncles i am close to that could walk me, or grandfathers. Im so confused on this situation.

Justs come out of a releaionship, where my girlfriend said the magic had gone, but the week before was still mad in love and has missed me. I only want to be married to a nice lady one day, hopefully I find a good one to be with, but meanwhile...

I was uptown at a grocer, & some new guy to town approached me to talk, so we did for a bit, & he liked my scooter I made myself from one that someone had junked when it stopped working.

I thought nothing of it at the time, when he asked me to go to his house because he had a girlfriend?

But when I got ready to go, he tried to lock the door with that bar thing, and wanted his girlfriend to try to convince me to please stay a bit longer. He wanted to know if I will have a 3some with his girlfriend and him, but I didn't feel up for that, so I tried to leave.

This happened several times, but I didn't want to seem rude, so finally I made it out and left. I have not been back yet.

What should I have done? I didn't see it coming?
What would you have done if you were me?

I've known this guy through the net for 5 years. We got Madly in love.He lives 8000 miles away!He visited my country last year & said he'd wait forever 4 me.A month ago, he said he doesn't love me & that the distance was too much & we were better as friends.I even offered to quit my school'n & go there, He rejeceted me SO descisevly & a week later, he said he started meeting another & I don't know if that was true or he was just pushing me away.
I Can't let go!! He treats me So coldly, However I feel I wanna talk to him no matter what! I'd die if our "Friendship" ends too. I still love him with all my heart, But I'm torture'n myself. Any Advice on what I should do?
