I guess this is too much a generalisation to give a proper answer.
It would depend from person to person, & relationship to relationship.

Most of the time, a guy might mean it, but it would also depend a lot on how it is said!

It depends...I would like to think that if someone tells you they love you...than yes, they do mean it in some degree

I don't! I love my boyfriend unconditionally and I tell him every single day. I also show him because in my experience, actions speak louder than words.

well at my skewl they dont they throw it around likes its a ball which pisses me off cuz the other person can really love them. but if you kno you love them n they love you then there is no prb. if there lyin or not. you just kno if they love you .

if theyre looking you in the eyes when they say it and are tear'ing up. then yes.
if theyre on top of you in a bedroom, and looking at their watch with the other hand...then NO
