Do men really not understand women, or are they just lazy and can't be bothered to make the effort?

If a woman has been going out with a man for 10years surely he should know her character, what she likes or doesn't like, what days she works, not to say that she needs to loose a few pounds when she actually has lost more than that. Men know how to wind a woman up when they want to, why can't they just be nice naturally without wanting anything in return.

some men just dont put in the time and effect and really dont feellike being botheredafter awhile of being with a person. they get comfortable and feel like they know ll they need to know. also being with a person for so long u get out the mood of trying new things and they enjoy the same old same old. most men are just not sensitive to women needs,men understand somethings afteru break it down, but they will never get the full understanding that women get when u talk among each other.

Men are so different to women.
If your partner & you have been together 10 years he has got complacent like all men do.
He probably does love you but we do not like to keep telling you.
We don't like to be nagged, we want a quiet life

I think it is the woman that winds herself up by thinking & saying things that the man is not really thinking about.

I get this all the time witj my best friend.

I think she nags far too much & in the end we talk & resolve her problems.

You should talk to your partner & he will make you a lot happier & stop nagging him.

Girls are more emotionally intuitive, and we guys suck at that, so instead of getting annoyed as guys, just accept it..our gender just cant figure u out...

This will sound sexist and out of date.
The purpose of why we are here males and females is procreation. Creation, Nature, God, (call it what you like) decided the female will be bearing the offspring and has to see to its upbringing. Most men and women do not have this in mind at that courtship stage. That is why it is so difficult to understand. It is frustrating and leads to "wars".

I don't think men mean anything by it. It's just when they know you a long time they start to treat you like one of the guys, and forget woman can be a bit more tetchy about certain things.

I understood my 1st wife that's why we divorced. I understand my 2nd wife that's why we are together 22 years.

I didn't understand myself in my 1st marriage that's why we divorced. I understand myself so much more now, that's why I'm still married to my 2nd wife.

To be honest, when we think we know what women want or something. Then it changes, or if one woman's likes X, then we'll assume "Aha! Got it." and then we'll fine ten who like Y. You're just so complicated.
