Ive been with this guy for six years off and on due to babymama drama and i really love him but the drama has gotten worse and worse every year with her calling my phone and harassing me and leaving evil messages, i have to keep changing my number and that's embarassing. When he is around her he ignores my phone calls like i dont exist saying it is disrespectful to answer the phone around her. Ive done a lot for this guy and been their for him when he was down and dont feel he is treating me like i deserve. It makes me feel like i dont mean nothing to him everytime he gets around her to help her out in situations. And he just wont really come out and tell her look i luv my girl and i dont want you disrespecting her because i help you out when you dont have anyone and im their for my child whenever you call.

Why is it fully expected that a man with good manners will always serve the woman by opening her doors, assisting her through doorways, defering to her in all cases ("ladies first"), and otherwise catering to her (including ponying up all the cash for dates),

whereas:

He is criticized as wanting her to be his slave if he expects her to also serve him in any small way (e.g. prepare a meal and bring him a plate)?

If she says she is looking for a man that will treat her as the above, she is told that she should demand that treatement and is deserving.

If a man says that he demands ANYTHING at all from her, he is criticized for wanting a slave.

Why can't he prepare his own food and plate? He can.

Why can't she open her own doors and pay her own way? She can.

What's so bad if they show how they feel by serving each other, though?

Why is it good manners for him to serve her and slavery for her to serve him?

At the moment I'm living with my mother due to ilness, and I was talking to a romantic interest onine for about a week. Mom walked in one day while I was opening an e-mail containing some explicit pics of this person, and IMMEDIATELY formed her opinion based on that. I really cared about this person, still do, and were supposed to meet yesterday. Didn't happen; I think Mom's opinion discouraged her from meeting me as we planned, and I have recieved no e-mails or messages from her since. I'm devastated!
This could have been a good thing, and I feel like my mother being so meddlesome COMPLETELY screwed things up--any advice here?

I have a friend of 8 months and just found out he is married and he didnt tell me. He says he just never thought of telling me. I was born both genders but raised male even though I am more female. He knows all about this. He is a personal trainer and very much into me getting in great shape. I asked him once who he lives with and he said another male trainer BUT did not mention a wife. He is all smiles around me and has said he is thankful for me. He met his wife 4 yrs ago and dated for 1 year before getting married. My friend knows how I feel about him. He did this skit where he wore a pink tutu and danced infront of a lot of people then sent me a pic of it. Is my friend falling in love with me? Does he sound gay and living behind a marriage? Why didnt he tell me he is married?

I have a problem. I am a 35 years old bachelor. In my mind I feel that I am a female entrapped in a male body. As a very young boy I grew up with some girls who were our neighbours. When I was a small boy I used to wear the girl's frock also because the girl used to tell me to wear it. Now some of the girls are married. Few of the girls just say "Hi" to me and they disappear. I feel extremely uncomfortable in the company of men. At the same time no girl is talking with me. I want to talk with some girl who will understand me. It has been futile till now. I have been married for 2 months, my husband left his ex-wife because she was abusive 3 years ago we met shortly after his divorce. I understand if she says jump, he says how high, she calls he drops everything for his daughters even plans with me. What I don't understand he shuts me out sleeps in another room when he comes back from being yelled at by her. And does not want to talk to me about it. I understand she is bitter she will always be bitter, she is not seeing anyone, does not work,
she see a therapist ( we pay for that) and has for a long time. Her family is a bunch of wacko's brothers both cheat on their wives, father is an acholic, mother has been married 7 times..We are her and the girls sole support, she does not work , but she does not want me around her kids I have to leave our home when they come over and spend the weekend with friends.I am a MD What would you do ? He is afraid to fight her because he does not want to lose custody we are both in our late 30's.

Well my ex bf broke up with me about nearly a month ago now. I do still really miss him. We did this mutually saying we should give each other freedom to experience new things. But we promised to stay friends as we've always been together everywhere. Things were good between us. And although the break was mutual, its killing me more. I want him so badly. The first two weeks were hell. He often asks me out for a movie, dinner, shopp. and i just agreed. Knowing how much pain it will cause when the day ends. It sucks to go out as friends. But its getting better, im feeling better, i dont know if im self decluding myself or wad but i hope im feeling good now. I still like him alot and he knows it, but he wants me to get over him soon. He doesnt like to see me cry but helps in consoling me. I wonder wad on his mind all the time. I wonder if he misses me. Today was really bad. I kept crying and crying non stop, nothing triggered it. Im just very sad. And misses him badly. what should i do

I don't like her. I wonder if it's just that I don't like Dad being married to her. She didn't leave me alone with the baby and she watched me like a hawk, but she was nice. me and my ex went out for alittle over a month. Then she broke up with me and said that she just wanst to be friends and dosnt want a bf right now. I pleaded with her to give me another chance and aplogized numerous times but she still said no. I tried to get over her and even started to like another girl but I still love her. Im still not over her b/c we have alot of the same classes and I see her everyday and I get remined everyday of how wonderful she is and how much I want her back. I miss her so much and still really want to be with her and really like her and maybe even love her. So im askin What should I do. well... as my questions before, me and my bf will get marry next april... everyone is invited except for his parents. His siblings are really happy as his grand's and best friends too. as he explained to me, his parents sometimes are nice, sometimes are not to him and this is true cuz i had seen that before. I told him maybe they are acting NOW like this bc its their first kid from 7 kids who is getting marry tho. he had told them already about the wedding but they're like "ok, yeah right" like dont giving a f***. That's why my bf is undecided to invite them. they really like me alot but i think is something up to both of them (my bf and them). His grand's are really happy as his closest friends too. What do you think he or me should do? I feel like all i can do is ask by here and in some way help him out. i think like if i talk with his parents, he wont gonna like that. ALSO, i understand parents getting worry cuz mine does too. By what i know from his parents is that they had raised him with such of good education and responsability ( hes graduate already and is working US$800dls / week and they asked him to pay rent to his house, his car insurance and all that)... do you think this would be good for our future>?

BTW... My family is so nice to my bf that my aunt told me if he wants , she can be her groom maid :)
