My husband of 5 years has asked me to agree to be his submissive during sex. We tried it last week and I really liked it. We have agreed that he will not hurt me in anyway, but that I will do whatever he wants. Does anyone have experience in this? I'm very curious

Many people try different ideas when t comes to sex. Being submissive is a common way to hieghten arousal for a sexual partner or yourself. Becoming submissive to another allows the other to have full control and the one submitting will be most times caught off gaurd and/or surprised at what their partner is doing, which will cause greater stimulation during intercourse. Being in control of your partner can also be exciting and allow for more enjoyment during sex. However some allow for a safe word in order for the one being submissive to stop any acts that they feel is hurting them or causes excessive discomfort.

In human sexual behavior, a submissive is one who enjoys having any of a variety of BDSM practices performed upon them by a "Dominant"; or one who holds a submissive position within a relationship based upon dominance and submission (Ds or D/s). This enjoyment can spring from a simple desire for submission or an enjoyment of the interplay of wills involved in such a scenario. A submissive is also referred to as a "sub", where the dominant in a D/s relationship is the 'Dom.'

The main difference between a submissive and a bottom is that the submissive ostensibly does not give instructions, although s/he does set limits on what the Dominant can do.

There are also indications that submissives substantially outnumber Dominants, in both males and females. Professional Dominants provide stimulatory services (which may or may not include sex) for those unable to find a compatible partner for this activity.

In many BDSM communities, there is a distinction between a submissive and a slave. In this context, a slave's goal is surrender and obedience. In contrast, a submissive tends to expect some gratification in return for his or her submission.

hope this helped,
good luck

Yep men are attracted sexually to Women. That should empower Women, but society for so long has allowed men to exert their wishes in an authorative fashion. Women have always been compelled to give into this dominant sexuality of the male because they have historically needed the financial support, and of course the man is needed in some capacity to have a family. Men behave that way because we are more sexual then women, believe it or not its true. Men are hardwired to do the deed as much as possible but it is both a genetic imperative but also one of the ego because men dont have any genetic attraction to the emotional and intellectual relationship. Sure these things are fullfilly usually (when they are not breaking ppl up in fights) but its not what drives the male... sex and sexual attraction is what does that. Male's are suited to physical and spatial activity, wheras the Female is suited to empathy and communication. The skillsets of a Female are much better suited to authority in future societies where computer systems can replace the physical and spatial activity. Dont forget Women are the only sources of life... so that with the original point that men's sexual attraction should be empowering for Women - does really strike me as a clear case for Female dominance. Male dominance is what bought us to where we are now, but is it really needed or ideal, no way!!

Being submissive is fine, we do it all the time, because in love I could be the slave and other times she is. It is fun.

I'm gay and submissive is bottoming. I have both topped and bottomed. You need to incorporate dildos. You will probably be more receptive, but until he submits to you, then it's truly not an equal playing ground.
