Is there a need to challenge themselves?

I've lost several of my female friends because they married guys who didn't allow them to have male friends, and who on top of that treat them badly.

And these are women with advanced education (master's or a doctorate) marrying men who barely finished high school and have a story of problems with the law.

What is the attraction the polite researcher feels for the drunk biker?

i had this brief sexual thing going on with this man, i did not work out and we parted on good terms. i got this text from him accusing me of giving his number to one of my friends, i asked him what on earth was he going on about? he said that he has only slept with 2 girls since coming to this country, and all the facts point to me, i told him that i would not do such a thing and asked him what did the texts say, and why is it relevent that we had sex? and what are these facts? he then replied sorry it must have been a prank and he believes that i wouldnt do it and he does not want to discuss it further.
i was curious, particulary as the comments must have mentioned to do with sex, and i text him saying that i deserve some kind of fuller explanation , and got no response. i waited a day then text him saying that what had probably happened is that he was bragging about his consquest to his mates, and he was to stpid to work out that it was them that was doing it BUT.........

I'm a muslim guy, age 23, not a realigious person but believe in god... i've been seing this scottish christian girl who goes to the same university as i do.....for almost a year.....we just broke up n now she is a totally different person....she speaks to me as if she has no respect for me.....she always wanned to be friends if we ever broke up but i said no, then again when i thought hard about it, i said yes to her....but she's just too cold n shallow....i mean no matter how nice i try to be with her she treats me even worse....what is the best thing for me to do at this point of time? i'm crushed....she's got no sympathy for me n treats me really bad....what am i supposed to do....i love her too much.

when we go to clubs my friends often tell me that "go! dance with that guy behind you! he's been trying to dance with you all night!" or things like that. when a guy kept on dancing behind me or beside me and kept on looking at me, what should i do? My sister was born with very thick hair like in a bob to her shoulders. We all know that other babies are born without hair!

I think that when i was little i saw a program where was said that it means that a child who is born with thick hair would be happy, wealthy....I don't remember exactly!

my ex called me today.
you know she brokeup with me & i still want her back but she never answerd my sms & calls.
but she called me & we had a conversation but did`nt say anything about our relationship.
she just said try to live happily & somethings like that.
we i said i still love you & i missed you she said "when will you forget me ? i`m a bad girl ! dont waist your time"
i dont know why she called & why she told me these!!!

I dont know if any of you have been reading my questions, but I talked to my husband about my mother in law and he basically said there is nothing he could do about it, and that if I wasn't happy to leave.

So short of that, I have decided to leave. I hate it, but I knew eventually this is what would happen. He loves her way more than me and I knew that from the start of this marriage. He was committed to her even before het met me. His whole family relies on him.
Well, we will talk when he gets back from dropping her off this morning.

My husband and I seperated in November after nearly 7 years of marriage. The moment I moved into my own home, I felt calmer and more at peace with myself than I have in years. We always said that we would seperate and then decide if we wanted to work further on the marriage.
We went on a "date" this week and it was okay, but I didn't feel a pull towards him. I really just wanted to be home alone.
Has anyone ever seperated and then reunited? How do you know that is the correct course of action? I'm afraid that I'm just doing it because he wants it and/or its easier than divorce.

I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. The very abridged version is:

My sons father was a crackhead (I didn't know till after I got out of the relationship) and suicidal. While down in Florida he was in a rehab home and found out at 30 that he was adopted. This put him over the edge. 6 months later he swallowed too many pills, and OD'ed. That was 4 years ago today. There were so many secrets in the house that he grew up in that I feel were just steps taking him closer to his problems and I don't want to have to secrets in my house. But I never told my son that his father killed himself, though he does know everything else, that his father was an addict and had attempted suicide before, taking too many pills killed him. He's 11. Would you ever tell your child this truth or just let him put the pieces together, because he will one day. I just don't want him being mad at me when he does.

Please no judgments about my choices or his father. Thank you very much.

My best friend is looking for a boyfriend. She hasnt had one in a year and she wants one. She is mad that I always have the boyfirend. I have been together with my boyfirend for the past two months so I know what she is talking about. There is really cute guy who she really thinks is very cute, we will call him Doug. Me and my boyfriend fight sometimes about my looks. Hes a total sweetheart and just sometimes randomally says somthing like "Your really pretty you know that?" or "You look great" but i dont agree with him. To me im ugly. All the girls at my school are so cuh prettier than me but he always agrues with me when I tell him not to say that.

I tell him "No Im not Dont say that" and he always goes "Well im only saying the truth" so we will sit there and agrue.

I together with my bf for 5 years. In this 5 years, we did lots of fights and ever separeate 1 year. And now...again...we fight again and no keep and touch for 3 monthes. I am so helpless about this situation. I try to ask lots of ways...like fortune-telling...All fortune-telling told me that our love is over...
