I married my first husband 6/22/74, divorced him 2/5/78 remarried him 5/6/79 divorced him again 4/16/81....I had an Uncle that married the same 2 woman over and over again..he married one when she became pregnant he divorced her and married the other one until she became pregnant then he's divorce her and remarry the first one...he had 5 kids with first wife and 6 with the second...the only thing I could figure was he couldn't stand being around a pregnant woman...had nothing to do with her weight because both wives were large women.

I married her because I loved her. One and a half years later we divorced. After a year I started dating another very nice lady and who suddenly comes in to the picture but my ex. She tells me we made a mistake and should try again and I break it off with the other lady and we start dating and remarry and stay together for 16 years then divorce because SHE doesn't want to be married any more! Don't do it, the pain the second time is worst than the first.

No, but know 3 people that did. All made it work too! I had the opportunity to have a long chat with one of the couples too. They said without lots of forgiveness, they would never be able to continue. I always tell people to never hide your past, to always use it for solving problems of the future. However, these two said the exact opposite. Sort of a new beginning. I may have been wrong to throw such a cookie cutter answer at all questions of this type. Wisdom isn't easy sometimes. We all hope we have it, but the longer I live the more I know...... I'm just not THAT wise!

Already have once. It doesn't work. If there was something that caused problems the first time, chances are, that problem will arise again. See, me and this girl were dating, but she didn't like my fingernails being black. (I'm a goth kid) She always made me take it off, so I finally said to hell with it, and broke up with her. Well, about a year later we started talking again and she wanted to be with me, but now I was wearing eyeliner. The first time she said something about it (about 2 weeks into the new relationship), I told her no. I am who I am, and if you don't like it, maybe we aren't supposed to be together. We broke up that night and we've never talked to each other since. Just goes to show you, if it was a problem once, it'll be a problem again. Also, don't date preppy chicks if you're a goth. I learned that one...

NO.That's kind of like wiping before you poop(it does'nt make any sense)It's like tasting spoiled milk and saying oh wait was it really spoiled let me taste it again. If thing's did not work out the first time why would you turn around and make the same mistake again. So in answer to your question NO it is rediculous.

My uncle married the same woman three times. They had one kid together and would marry, divorce, marry, divorce, etc. When she died they had been divorced (or so our family assumes). He would often get married without letting the family know...
