Let's be specific: We're talking about guys that hit on girls a lot, especially strangers, and successfully hook up for one-night stands a good percentage of the time.

Here's my experience with these types of guys: they are conceited pricks. They are insulting and rude. But, they are never boring, and they make you laugh, in spite of how much you may dislike them. And, their approach with women is to go for the frontal assault. They start talking about sex right away, or make it obvious right away that it's the reason they are talking to the girl.

In terms of looks they are either the big "tough guy" type, or the "cute" runway model skinny guy. Dorky looking guys struggle as if trying to find a cure for old age.

How does your experience compare to mine?

I miss my almost x husband terribly. We have been seperated for a year now, contact one another now and again.. no hard feelings. I just miss him so very much. The only thing, our outlook on life are so different. I'm travelling a lot and wants to still do that. He wants to settle down and start a family. He send me text messages every day telling me how much he still loves me. And I love him, I'm just so scared that I miss out on what is out there in the big world. Please help!!!! What should I do. I'm 24 yrs old and I am 33 weeks pregnant. My husband and I have been married for only a years. We are both active duty military and I think he is cheating on me. We are stationed in two different states. I have no family here. I just recently came to this state, so it is really hard. Alls he wants to do is hurt me. He told me that the only reason he is still with me is because I am pregnant, and that he is not happy. I don't know how much else I can take. I haven't spoken to him in about 9 days. I refuse to call him because he never picks up the phone for me. Man does that hurt. I have given up everything for him. And the girl I think he is messing with used to come to my house and act as she was my friend. That hurts!!! I told him that I don't even want him in the delievery room when I have my baby. He called me childish and stupid. I have been through so much pain. It hurts to have to go out and shop for a baby by yourself when it takes two to make it.

I'm a happily married guy with a young family and nothing i'd seek to change. However, i'm really confused by the feelings i've got for a work colleague who i've known for about 4 years as a friend and recently who I have really, truly fallen for. It's not just lust before you ask, i've known her too long for it to be pure physical attraction, it's that I really care about her in the same ways I felt about my wife when I met her. I'm just crushed by it, I dont know what to do, I can't avoid her (too small a workplace) and yet I cant keep my mind off her. I obviously cant tell her, what should I do...is it just a case that time will lessen the feelings? Is it possible to fall in love twice even when youre not looking for it?

ok, i have a boyfriend that has a class with me and my other friend Sarah. During class it seems like he talks and pays more attention to her. i get easily jealous and i know its wrong. Every now and then i try to think up ways to break up with him but whenever i see him or talk to him, everything is alright and my troubles away. Sarah has a boyfriend also and my boyfriend knows that. i dont think he would do anything to hurt me. but it seems everytime i try to leave him, i just cant. i wouldnt call it love because i dont know what it is. i know im crazy! comments or suggestions? what should I do if i think something is happening? am i being paranoid?

i met this guy a week ago. Hes rly nice and gentle n cute n everything. I want him..as in hes gr8 n is a keeper. she is in my class.two months back i asked her that i want to be her friend .she says yes but then she dont give any positive signal and try to avoid me.
i pull away and completly ignore her for two months and even we have one presentation together but i remove myself from that group.
Now from last one week she is directly looking into my eyes again and again and i am trying to ignore her.yesterday it was last day before vaccation and i saw she was looking to me with tears in her eyes.but i just walk out.

I'm a little wierded out. Just the other day, I decided to change my cell number because the one I recently got was recieving too many sales calls. Long story short, I tried calling the companies to make them stop but they didn't. So, I text messaged everyone on my cell (all at once) saying that "I changed my number, heres the updated number". Then, I recieve a phonecall from my piano teacher and he says "Is everything ok? Oh, I'm here at a restaurant called Cheese Cake Factory, have you been here before?" I replied, "Yea, it's pretty good." Then he asks me, "Maybe we should come here sometime." Ummm...ok....that made me feel wierd. To me, I thought that was crossing the boundary between teacher and student. You don't ask your students to go out and eat. A side note, plus he told me at my last piano lesson that he wants to get a divorce w/ his wife. I'm feeling very awkward now, and it really interferes w/ me wanting to learn piano!

There is no hope for this marriage and I am ashamed/disgusted to be with him and to be seen with him. He drinks too much. Last night was the dealbreaker for me: we went to a holiday party and he drank too much and, for some reason, spit on the host's kitchen floor. Well, the host of livid and told me he needed to leave. I became unglued and yelled at him. We went back to my car and argued and he punched (my mom's!) car and shattered the windshield. I know that I'll never be invited back to my friend's house because of my husband
He's an immigrant from Korea. He moved here like 8 months ago and is having adjust issues (see my other posts) I want to leave--problem is that he is dramatic and says "if you leave me...I'll die." He is abusive to himself and I afraid he won't handle the separation. How do I leave him without him killing himself? We can't get counseling...he doesn't speak English. Even though he is sweet...I'm tired of being married to this child.

My mother-in-law is a negative person in general. She is critical and finds fault in everything. She is a bitter old woman. She criticizes me in front of my husband, and my husband tends to act on her criticism. He then starts to criticize me about the things she talks about.

She is mean to my son (from another marriage) and sweet to my daughter (from my marriage now with her son). Last night she snipped at me about not getting onto my son (12 years old) for saying the word "butt". I was going to handle it in another room by talking to him away from other people, but she thought I should yell at him right there or treat him like a 3 year old. My husband did not say anything and this morning he yelled at me (not normal behavior) over cooking sausage.

It seems like every time we go over there my husband is difficult to be around for a few days. I try to talk to him and he gets mad. I know she will never change. How will I deal with this?
