I am in my mid 30's and I live with my parents. I met a wonderful man but my mother doesn't want me to see him. She believes that I should not trust any man because he will hurt me. However she has been married to my father for over 36 years.

I'm assuming that they are.. since women in this age tend to already know what they want.. among other things.

succeed in a relationship? It seems guys nowadays only think about sex and are not into the REAL THING, that's spiritual love. Please, tell me your view point please. I really want to believe there are still people who care for their soul mates and would always stand by her, care for her, go to the end of Earth for her. Tell me I am right, tell me there is still this kind of love, pure, unconditional.

My friend was so sensitive. She asked me to buy some gifts for our teacher. And I don't have money. But I got a lot of money inside my wallet. She asked me to buy a shirt, alarm clock, bear, perfume, picture frames. And all in all it was $15! And my money was only $10 I only bought the bear and the shirt. When I told her I only bought the bear and shirt, She got mad, She said she doesn't want people who make promises that they can't keep. (yeah I agree) But I didn't say promise. I didn't want to be a slave for her. She's just child-minded or something. Help! How can I change her personality? She's my bestfriend I don't wanna leave her, That's the only thing I dont like on her!

I know there are a million other questions like these, but I wanted my own responses.

I have developed a crush-turned-infatuation with my professor, and I don't know what to do! I know nothing can happen, and I know not to do anything about it, but this whole thing is on my mind all the time. Thankfully, I can still concentrate in class and on my schoolwork, but I find myself getting jealous of students who answer correctly in class, and I beat myself up if I don't get a high grade in the class. Do you think he will like me any less if I don't understand the subject too well or don't get A's on the tests?

I guess my problem is learning how to get over this crush. As I've mentioned, I know nothing can happen (even though I badly wish something can). I don't even know his relationship status or anything. I don't like anyone my age, and he just seems like the perfect match for me (at least on the surface). Please help! Thanks!

I have recently broken up with my friend who has manic depression due to an argument we had, we work in same organisation. Basically I really cared for her and ended up telling her supposed partner who is living with his girlfriend that she was sleeping around, which she was, I did this because I felt that he was using her and she kept on saying the same to me.

It has now been 4 months, and I have contacted her by e-mail 3 times asking how she is and whether we can be friends. I also rang her house and apologised. Now she has reported me to the harrassment team, I have never threatened her ever and I wouldn't because I still care for her. I had an interview with the team when I told them we were having sex which we were and have done a few times, she has told them we were not and I think she has just told them that I fell for her and got jealous of boyfriend.

Can I get in trouble? I never imagined she would do this

Was she justified in doing this? Was I harrassing her?

I am relatively new at my job been here 12 weeks (i'm the only new starter) Im 24 male There is a guy that brings our stationary to the office and he makes jokes about me being quiet to the girl that sits near me. He also says stuff directly to me like "you don't say much do you?" and i'm just extremely embarrased and angry. Anyway it just happened again. Like i'm new why didn't he introduce himself to me or somthing? i personally think he's a pervert as he always goes directly to the girl near me with massive boobs. Its like he expects me to jump in his conversations with her? I always mind my business. Im sociable and in past jobs have helped new starters and given them encouragement. But the girl who sits just one desk away is supposed to be my collegue, but she just laughs with him and didn't even stick up for me by saying im new. He even makes silent gestures to her about me and whistles. God I swear this guy im guna punch him next time. What should I do? Report him? Help!

My new husband has pretty much ended our relationship because he firmly believes I cheated on him at the start of our relationship with one of my old housemates. He’s always had his suspicion and I’ve tried to convince him I haven’t been with anyone else (I really didn’t!!!). He’s said I can put a stop to it all, if I just be honest with him and tell him what went on and maybe we can save our marriage. The thing is, nothing ever happened at all!!

To be fair I did live with about 7 very promiscuous men (you know the Aussie/Saffa house in west London thing) in a crazy party house, and one guy in particular (the one he thinks I cheated with) was very sleazy and did say a few things that even I can’t explain.

We’ve been together a year, and have just got married (yes, too soon in hindsight) and he’s said he doesn’t believe me, so I have said well I will leave because I have done nothing. He’s been going on about it on and off for a while, but its just escalated.

What the? This is
